మరో 13 అంతర్జాతీయ సర్వీసులకు 'జెట్' బ్రేక్

ఆర్థిక సంక్షోభంలో కొట్టుమిట్టాడుతున్న జెట్ ఎయిర్వేస్ మరో 13 అంతర్జాతీయ సర్వీసులను ఏప్రిల్ నెలాఖరు వరకు నిలిపివేస్తూ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. లీజు చెల్లించని కారణంగా ఇప్పటివరకు నిలిచిపోయిన విమానాల సంఖ్య 54కు చేరింది.

ఆర్థిక సంక్షోభంలో కూరుకుపోయిన జెట్ ఎయిర్వేస్ మరో నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. 13 అంతర్జాతీయ సర్వీసులను ఏప్రిల్ నెలాఖారు వరకు నిలిపివేస్తున్నట్లు ప్రకటించింది. లీజు చెల్లించని కారణంగా మరో 7 విమాన సర్వీసులు నిలిచిపోయాయి. ఈ నిర్ణయం వల్ల అంతర్జాతీయ సర్వీసులకు ఆటంకం ఏర్పడింది.

ఇప్పటి వరకు నిలిచిపోయిన జెట్ ఎయిర్వేస్ విమానాల సంఖ్య 54కు చేరింది.

సర్వీసుల రద్దుతో పాటు అంతర్జాతీయ ట్రిప్లను తగ్గించినట్లు జెట్ ఎయిర్వేస్ వర్గాలు పేర్కొన్నాయి. ముఖ్యంగా దిల్లీ, ముంబయి నుంచి ట్రిప్ల సంఖ్య అధికంగా తగ్గించినట్లు సంస్థ తెలిపింది.

ఒకప్పుడు రోజుకు 600 విమానాలు నడిపిన జెట్ఎయిర్ వేస్... ఆర్థిక సంక్షోభం వల్ల ప్రస్తుతం రోజుకు 119 విమానాలు మాత్రమే నడుపుతోంది.

STORYLINE:
Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen responded to China's discontent on Friday at her visit to her country's Pacific allies of Palau, Nauru and the Marshall Islands.
Tsai and her Palauan counterpart, Palau President Thomas Remengesau Jr., each planted a mango tree in a sign of both countries' long-lasting friendship.
Tsai also took a bite of a melon grown by Taiwan's agricultural mission to Palau. The agricultural mission helps Palau to develop its agriculture.
During a meeting with locals and Taiwanese living in Palau, Tsai said, "The Beijing government seems to disagree with everything (I do). Do you think it reasonable that your neighbor has to approve each time you visit friends?"
Tsai's trip to the Pacific allies lasts from March 21 to 28.
After her leg in Palau, she is scheduled to visit Nauru and the Marshall Islands. She will make a stop-over in Hawaii before returning to Taiwan.
