జాతీయ పౌరసత్వ సవరణ చట్టానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా దేశంలో ఆందోళనలు కొనసాగుతూనే ఉన్నాయి. దిల్లీలోని జామా మసీదు వద్ద శుక్రవారం ప్రార్థనల అనంతరం నిరసనకారులు ఆందోళనలు చేపట్టారు. పౌర చట్టాన్ని కేంద్రం ఉపసంహరించుకోవాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
మసీదు వద్ద ఆందోళనల నేపథ్యంలో పటిష్ఠ భద్రత ఏర్పాటు చేశారు అధికారులు. ఇటీవల హింసాత్మక ఘటనలు పెద్ద ఎత్తున చెలరేగిన నేపథ్యంలో ముందస్తు జాగ్రత్త చర్యలు చేపట్టారు.

భీమ్ ఆర్మీ అధినేత చంద్రశేఖర్ ఆజాద్ను విడుదల చేయాలని డిమాండ్ చేస్తూ వందలాది మంది నిరసనకారులు ప్రధాని ఇంటికి మార్చ్ నిర్వహించారు. మధ్యలోనే పోలీసులు అడ్డుకుని వారిని నిలిపివేశారు. మార్చ్లో భాగంగా చేతులను కట్టేసుకున్న నిరసనకారులు.. తాము హింసకు కారణం కాదంటూ నినదించారు.
అటు ఆందోళనల నేపథ్యంలో ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్‌లోని వివిధ ప్రాంతాల్లో కూడా భద్రతను పటిష్టం చేశారు. ఘజియాబాద్, బులంద్ షెహర్, మీరట్, ముజఫర్ నగర్, షామ్లీ ప్రాంతాల్లో అంతర్జాల సేవలను మళ్లీ నిలిపేశారు. ఈ రోజు సాయంత్రం వరకు అంతర్జాల సేవలను నిలిపేశామని పోలీసు ఉన్నతాధికారులు వెల్లడించారు.

Carlo Ancelotti said the only thing a coach can do when his team plays two matches in three days is pray that no player gets injured.
The new Everton head coach, who was appointed last Saturday, spoke on Thursday after winning his first game in charge of the Toffees 1-0 at home against Burnley.
Everton will travel to Newcastle on Saturday - it will be Ancelotti's first away game in Premier League since May 2011.
"Pray. We have to pray to avoid injuries because there is a big possibility that a player can have an injury" the former Chelsea manager said.
"Our staff have to do the maximum to recover the players, but we know that in 48 hours it is impossible" he added.
