బాలాకోట్పై మెరుపుదాడిలో భారత యుద్ధవిమానాలను పాకిస్థాన్ రాడార్లు గుర్తించకుండా మేఘాలు సహాయపడతాయని తాను వాయుసేనకు సలహా ఇచ్చానని, అందువల్లే ఆ దాడి విజయవంతమైందన్న ప్రధాని మోదీ వ్యాఖ్యలపై ప్రతిపక్షాలు మండిపడ్డాయి. ఆయన మాటలు హాస్యాస్పదంగా ఉన్నాయని ఎద్దేవా చేశాయి.

పాకిస్థాన్లోని బాలాకోట్పై భారత వాయుసేన చేసిన మెరుపుదాడి పట్ల ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ చేసిన తాజా వ్యాఖ్యలపై ప్రతిపక్షాలు మండిపడ్డాయి. దేశ రక్షణకు సంబంధించిన విషయాలను బహిర్గతం చేసి ఎన్నికల ప్రవర్తనా నియమావళిని మోదీ ఉల్లంఘించారని ఆరోపించాయి.

దేశ రక్షణకు ముప్పు

దేశ రక్షణకు సంబంధించిన సున్నితమైన సైనిక చర్యల కార్యాచరణ వివరాలను మోదీ వెల్లడించడం సిగ్గుచేటని సీపీఎం నేత సీతారాం ఏచూరి విమర్శించారు. ఓటర్లను ప్రలోభపెట్టడానికే ఓ టీవీ కార్యక్రమంలో ప్రధాని ఇలాంటి వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారని, ఇది ఎన్నికల ప్రవర్తనా నియమావళికి విరుద్ధమని ఈసీకి ఫిర్యాదు చేసింది సీపీఎం.

మోదీ వ్యాఖ్యలపై కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ మండిపడింది.

పుల్వామా ఉగ్రదాడికి ప్రతీకారంగా పాకిస్థాన్ ఆక్రమిత కశ్మీర్లోని బాలాకోట్పై మెరుపుదాడి చేయాలని నిర్ణయించింది వాయుసేన. అయితే దాడి సమయంలో వాతావరణం బాగాలేకపోయినా తన సలహా మేరకే వాయుసేన మెరుపుదాడి చేసినట్లు మోదీ ఓ టీవీ ఛానల్ ఇంటర్వ్యూలో చెప్పారు.

"బాలాకోట్పై మెరుపుదాడి చేయాలనుకునే సమయానికి వాతావరణం అనుకూలంగా లేదు. అందువల్ల ఆ దాడిని మరో రోజుకు వాయిదా వేయాలని నిపుణులు భావించారు. అయితే మన యుద్ధ విమానాలను పాకిస్థాన్ రాడార్లు గుర్తించకుండా మేఘాలు సహాయపడతాయని నేను సూచించాను." - ఓ టీవీ ఛానల్ ఇంటర్వ్యూలో ప్రధాని మోదీ

STORYLINE:
Hundreds of supporters of South Africa's ruling African National Congress (ANC) attended celebrations in the streets of Johannesburg on Sunday after the party's victory in the national elections.
The ANC was announced on Saturday as the winner with 57% of the vote which took place on May 8.
It was the party's worst performance in South Africa's six elections since 1994.
In a speech to the crowd, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa acknowledged the low turnout of 65% and said he wanted more of the party's "people" to vote next time round.
He said that voting is "when you make your voice heard" and he wanted more South Africans to be interested in their nation's affairs.
