వైరల్: మంత్రి పయనం.. సహాయానికా? విహారయాత్రకా?

మహారాష్ట్ర వరద బాధితులకు సహాయం చేసేందుకు వెళ్లిన ఓ మంత్రి వ్యవహార శైలిపై తీవ్రస్థాయిలో విమర్శలు చెలరేగుతున్నాయి. కోల్హాపుర్, సంగ్లీల్లో వరద బాధితులను పరామర్శించేందుకు వెళ్లిన ఆ రాష్ట్ర జలవనరుల శాఖ మంత్రి సెల్ఫీ వీడియో తీసుకున్న దృశ్యాలు బయటకు వచ్చాయి. ఈ వీడియో ఇప్పుడు వైరల్గా మారింది.

మహారాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా వరద ప్రభావంతో ప్రజలు తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులు పడుతున్నారు. ఈ తరుణంలో వారిని పరామర్శించేందుకు వెళ్లిన ఆ రాష్ట్ర జలవనరుల మంత్రి గిరీశ్ మహాజన్ వ్యవహారశైలి చర్చనీయాంశంగా మారింది. వరద బాధితులకు పరామర్శ సందర్భంగా ఆయన సెల్ఫీ వీడియో తీసుకున్నారు. ఈ దృశ్యాలు సామాజిక మాధ్యమాల్లో వైరల్గా మారాయి. రాష్ట్రమంతా వరదలతో అతలాకుతలం అవుతుంటే విహార యాత్రలా.. మంత్రి సెల్ఫీ వీడియో తీసుకుంటున్నారని సామాజిక మాధ్యమాల్లో నెటిజన్లు విమర్శలు గుప్పిస్తున్నారు.

Salvini: "The soonest possible. Then, the president of the Republic has to choose. The sooner we go to polls the better it is. I only hope someone won't come up saying 'let's wait five days, 10 days, 15 days, 20 days'."

STORYLINE:
Italy on Friday rapidly edged closer to an early election that could move the country farther to the right, with markets sinking amid political uncertainty and concerns that the country's already touchy relations with the European Union could suffer.
Deputy Premier Matteo Salvini's call for an early vote comes after he announced he would no longer support Premier Giuseppe Conte's 14-month-old populist government.
Conte demanded late Thursday that Salvini, who is also interior minister and whose right-wing League party is the junior coalition member, lay out his reasons in Parliament for refusing to back the government he helped form after 2018 elections that brought populists to power for the first time in Italy.
Although no new election date has been set, and the Italian president hasn't indicated if or when he will dissolve Parliament, a return to the ballot box could come as early as late October.
League senators on Friday pushed for a confidence vote in Parliament on Conte's government that the premier would likely lose, given Salvini's refusal to keep the coalition going.
Lawmakers had just left Rome for vacation, and it was unclear how soon the presidents of both chambers would call them back into session to hold debate and a vote.
Salvini is impatient to formally pull the plug on the government.
"Millions of Italians work on August and mid-August. So if there is a crisis, any day lost is a day that harms Italy and Italians, so we need to hurry," Salvini told a sea of cheering supporters Thursday night in Pescara, a small city on the Adriatic.
