జమ్ముకశ్మీర్లో తాజా పరిణామాలపై ఆ రాష్ట్రంలోని అఖిలపక్షాలు సమావేశమయ్యాయి. రాష్ట్రానికి ప్రత్యేక ప్రతిపత్తి కల్పించే రాజ్యాంగ నియమాల రద్దు, రాష్ట్రాన్ని మూడు భాగాలుగా విభజించాలనే ప్రయత్నాలను అడ్డుకునేందుకు కలిసి పోరాడాలని ఏకగ్రీవంగా తీర్మానించాయి.

జమ్ముకశ్మీర్కు రాజ్యాంగం కల్పించిన ప్రత్యేక ప్రతిపత్తి, రాష్ట్రాన్ని మూడు భాగాలుగా విభజించాలనే వంటి అంశాలపై ఉమ్మడిగా పోరాడాలని ఏకగ్రీవంగా తీర్మానించాయి ఆ రాష్ట్ర అఖిలపక్ష పార్టీలు. నేషనల్ కాన్ఫరెన్స్ నేత ఓమర్ అబ్దుల్లా నివాసంలో ఆదివారం సాయంత్రం భేటీ అయ్యారు నేతలు. కశ్మీర్లో ప్రస్తుత పరిణామాలు, భవిష్యత్తు కార్యచరణపై చర్చించారు.

సమావేశం అనంతరం మీడియాతో మాట్లాడారు ఎన్సీ అధినేత ఫరూక్ అబ్దుల్లా. రాజ్యాంగంలోని అధికరణ 370, అధికరణ 35ఏలను రద్దు చేయాలనే ప్రయత్నాలపై పోరాటం చేయాలని నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు చెప్పారు.

" జమ్ముకశ్మీర్, లద్ధాఖ్ గుర్తింపు, స్వయం ప్రతిపత్తి, ప్రత్యేక ప్రతిపత్తికి ఏ విధమైన భంగం కలగకుండా అన్ని పార్టీలు కలిసి ఐక్యంగా నిలవాలని అఖిలపక్షం తీర్మానించింది. అధికరణ 35ఏ, అధికరణ 370 తొలగింపు సహా రాష్ట్రాన్ని మూడు ముక్కలుగా చేయడం వంటి చర్యలు జమ్ముకశ్మీర్, లద్ధాఖ్ ప్రజల ఆకాంక్షలకు వ్యతిరేకం. జమ్ముకశ్మీర్ విషయంలో యథాతథస్థితి కొనసాగించాలని ఆదేశించాల్సిందిగా రాష్ట్రపతిని, ప్రధానిని కోరుతున్నాం."

భారత్, పాకిస్థాన్లు జమ్ముకశ్మీర్ అంశంలో ఎలాంటి నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవద్దని అన్ని పార్టీలు కోరుతున్నాయన్నారు అబ్దుల్లా. కాదని ముందుకెళితే.. ఉద్రిక్త పరిస్థితులు నెలకొంటాయన్నారు. రాష్ట్ర ప్రజలు శాంతియుతంగా ఉండాలని సూచించారు.

"So once we pass the line, which was still full of people trying to get in the bar, we got to the end of that line. That's when we heard the first shot, but we didn't recognise it as a shot because of the buildings, you know, it kind of echoed. Then we heard a second one, then after that it was rapid, it was rapid, then we knew it once that started happening. I instantly started trying to run. But I realised my cousin wasn't at my side, and when I looked back that's how I was able to see that people were actually falling from being hit by bullets."

"I just ran, I mean I just ran, I told as many people as possible. The street I had to run of was in front of Wiley's Comedy Club where my car was parked. There's a (parking) lot right there where a lot of people park in. And people were just standing, I think people were just hearing the sounds and not knowing was going on. So when we came around a corner. And they seen the mob and people running, that's when we started yelling 'Hey, shooter, there's an active shooter'. And some people were thinking we were playing because we not used to that in Dayton. And that's when you realise, there were a lot of people on the ground, started seeing CPR. The police actively got him (the gunman) fast, within a minute, they were interacting with the shooter."

"It just makes you scared and sad, that in the blink of an eye your life changed because we went from having a great time into the midst of being in turmoil. It just shows you that certain weapons don't need to be on the street. You know, they just don't. No matter if you can get it legally, if you get it illegally, certain weapons are just meant for destruction. They're not meant for you to have as collections and things like that, because people don't know how to act when they get into their emotional distress. It's just sad that I know people. And the people I don't know, I feel the same way for. I'm still shaking not just for the people I know, just for the situation. It's a lot of people coming out here, young kids 20, 21, just now getting out, being able to go have an event like this to go to, and you ruin it."

"I will never get those sounds out of my head. Just the gunshots. And then the people screaming. And the trampling and just the fear. Just, just really seeing fear like that, I've never been in nothing like that, when I've just seen a group of people so fearful. We just had the (unintelligible) down here and our city stuck together and showed that's not what we about down here. We're not about hate. You know, we got a saying here 'no hatin' in Dayton'. We don't do that, you know. So just for somebody to do that is just a shock. We know that this is going to change our outlook of our city."
STORYLINE:
An eyewitness to the mass shooting in Dayton, Ohio, said Sunday he will never forget what he saw.
Nine people died early Sunday when a gunman went on the rampage in the city's entertainment district.
Anthony Reynolds said he and his friends were leaving a bar in the area early on Sunday when they heard the first gunshot.
He said the gunfire was "rapid" after that.
"I was able to see that people were actually falling from being hit by bullets," he said.
"I will never get those sounds out of my head," he added. "Just the gunshots, and then the people screaming, and the trampling and just the fear."
The 31-year-old said he saw a glimpse of the shooter, who he says was dressed in all black and carrying a large gun.
Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley said the gunman was wearing body armour and had extra magazines for his .223-calibre rifle.
As well as the nine people who were killed, dozens more were injured before the gunman was shot dead by police.
