సివిల్ సర్వీసెస్ ఫలితాలను యూపీఎస్సీ ప్రకటించింది. కనిషక్ కటారియా మొదటి ర్యాంకు సాధించాడు. రాజస్థాన్కు చెందిన అక్షత్ జైన్ రెండో స్థానంలో నిలవగా, మహిళల విభాగంలో శ్రుతి జయంత్ జైన్ ప్రథమ ర్యాంకు సాధించింది.

దేశ అత్యున్నత సర్వీసుల్లో ఉద్యోగాల భర్తీ కోసం యూపీఎస్సీ నిర్వహించిన సివిల్స్- 2018 పరీక్ష తుది ఫలితాలు విడుదలయ్యాయి. ఐఐటీ బాంబే నుంచి బీటెక్ పట్టా పుచ్చుకున్న కనిషక్ కటారియా ప్రథమ స్థానంలో నిలిచాడు. గువహటి ఐఐటీ నుంచి ఇంజినీరింగ్ పూర్తి చేసిన అక్షత్ జైన్ రెండో ర్యాంకు సాధించాడు అక్షత్ తండ్రి ఐపీఎస్ అధికారి.
శ్రుతి జయంత్ దేశ్ముఖ్ మహిళల్లో ప్రథమ ర్యాంకు సాధించింది. ఆమె భోపాల్ రాజీవ్ గాంధీ విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో కెమికల్ ఇంజనీరింగ్ పూర్తి చేసింది. టాప్-25 ర్యాంకుల్లో 15 మంది పురుషులు, 10 మంది మహిళలు ఉన్నారు. తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాలకు చెందిన కర్ణాటి వరుణ్‌రెడ్డి ఏడో ర్యాంకు, అంకితా చౌదరి 14వ ర్యాంకు సాధించారు.
2018 జూన్ 3న నిర్వహించిన ప్రాథమిక పరీక్షకు 10,65,552 మంది దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోగా 4,93,972 మంది హాజరయ్యారు. వీరిలో 10,468 మంది మెయిన్స్కు అర్హత సాధించారు. 1994 మంది ఇంటర్వ్యూకు ఎంపికయ్యారు. తుది ఫలితాల్లో 759 మంది ఎంపికయ్యారు. వీరిలో 577మంది పురుషులు, 182 మంది మహిళలు ఉన్నారు.
ఉత్తీర్ణత సాధించిన వారిలో 180మందికి ఐఏఎస్, ఐఎఫ్ఎస్ 30, ఐపీఎస్ 150, కేంద్ర సర్వీసులకు 452 మందిని కేటాయించనున్నారు.
ఇంజనీరింగ్దే హవా
సివిల్స్ ఫైనల్ పరీక్షలో ఉత్తీర్ణులైన వారిలో ఇంజినీరింగ్ చేసినవారు అధికంగా ఉన్నారు. ఆ తర్వాత సైన్స్, ఆర్థిక శాస్త్రం, న్యాయశాస్త్రం, మేథమేటిక్స్ విభాగాలకు చెందిన వారున్నారు.

LEADIN:
Video game "God of War" dominated proceedings at the 15th annual Bafta games awards Thursday (4 April) night.
The mythology-based action-adventure game scooped five awards. There were also wins for racing game "Forza Horizon 4" and global smash "Fortnite".
STORYLINE:
Taking top gong. At the 15th annual British Academy Games Awards Thursday (4 April), the main "Best Game" prize went to "God of War".
It proved a good night for the mythology-based action-adventure game, made by US-based Santa Monica Studio.
The game ended up scooping five awards, including prizes for Narrative, Audio Achievement and Music.
US actor Jeremy Davies even picked up an award for his role as "The Stranger" in the 2018 release.
The eighth instalment in the series, action-adventure game "God of War" follows Katros and his young son Atreus.
Elsewhere, UK-based racing game "Forza Horizon 4" picked up the award for British Game.
The game was made by Leamington Spa-based Playground Games and is set in the UK, featuring British locations and British car brands, like McLaren.
Global smash "Fortnite" did pick up one award, for Evolving Game.
Despite being nominated for six awards, Rockstar Games' western action-adventure "Red Dead Redemption 2" failed to take home a single award.
