SHOTLIST: St Mary's Stadium, Southampton, England. 10th September 2019.
1. 00:00 SOUNDBITE: (English) Gareth Southgate, England manager:
"Well, bizarre really. The outstanding features and the poor features are apparent to everybody, so we don't need to get the video out and go back through it. Poor individual mistakes, a poor start to the game. I like the way we showed the composure to recover from that initial mistake and our use of the ball throughout the first half was excellent, right the way through the team. (We were) very calm in playing through their pressure. I think the pattern of the game was exactly what we thought, that we would be pressed high, that we would have to handle that, that they would have a threat from their direct play, but that there would be space for us to play through them to exploit them on the counter-attack."
2. 01:00 SOUNDBITE: (English) Gareth Southgate, England manager:
"Our attacking play… Raheem (Sterling), Jadon (Sancho) and Harry (Kane) were outstanding. I mean Raheem's two performances have been of the highest level. I think he's been almost unstoppable, his awareness of where defenders were, his ability to ride challenges, his vision and desire to get in on goal, and unselfish play as well, so I couldn't speak highly enough of the way he played. Jadon - you know we were talking about the three on Saturday - Jadon's performance was at that level as well."
3. 01:43 SOUNDBITE: (English) Gareth Southgate, England manager (on the mistakes made by his team):
"I think that is something that we have to consider over a period of time because there were obviously mistakes that were concerning, really. Whether it was the intensity of the game, whether it was the pressure, I don't know. We've got to reflect on that but they were such basic errors, really, that you have to learn from. What I would say is generally as a team, they recovered from those errors, although there is nothing worse than a losing lead for making a team feel uncomfortable. I think that generally speaking, they took control back of the game."
4. 02:40 SOUNDBITE: (English) Raheem Sterling, England forward (on what Gareth Southgate said to the players):
"He was happy with what he's seen in the first half but again, he's banged on about the sloppy mistakes that we keep giving teams goals. We've got to let them earn their goals by scoring good goals. We gave them all three of their goals."
5. 03:06 SOUNDBITE: (English) Raheem Sterling, England forward (on whether he is in the best form of his career to date):
"Most definitely. Last two years with my club it's been terrific scoring goals and all I've wanted to do is bring that on the international stage now and not just score goals on the international stage but score goals that will help my team to win football matches."
6. 03:28 SOUNDBITE: (English) Raheem Sterling, England forward (on Jadon Sancho):
"He was in my room at 1030pm (UK time) last night begging for me to square one to him. So, I was really happy to see him score his first one. He's a good kid. Even when I was at that age, I wasn't doing some of the things he's done. He's really professional."
7. 03:48 SOUNDBITE: (English) Bernard Challandes, Kosovo head coach:
"We decided to try to play football, to take risks and we saw in the first half how strong England is. We tried, we played. We also lost some unnecessary balls and we paid immediately because the counter(attack) of England was very, very beautiful."
8. 04:26 SOUNDBITE: (English) Bernard Challandes, Kosovo head coach:
"It was not easy in the dressing room at half(time) to speak with the players (at) 5-1 (down). It was very, very hard. But, the team showed a good reaction and we decided to play and to continue to play, to take risks (and) if it's possible to keep the ball also and to try anything for the offensive and it was good. I can congratulate the players and we can be proud with these players."

STORYLINE:
England recovered from a sloppy start against Kosovo to secure a 5-3 win after falling behind inside the opening 34 seconds during their Euro 2020 qualifier on Tuesday.
Valon Berisha capitalised on a Michael Keane error to give the visitors the lead before England's forward line ran amok, scoring five goals before half-time.
A frantic second period saw Kosovo net twice in six minutes and despite a series of chances and a missed Harry Kane penalty, the game ended without Gareth Southgate's men adding to their first-half haul.
