ఆదివాసీల అభ్యున్నతికి సర్కారు కోట్లల్లో నిధులు కేటాయిస్తున్నా... ఫలితాలు మాత్రం ఆశించినంతగా ఉండటంలేదు. తాజాగా ఛత్తీస్గఢ్లో ఓ ఆదివాసీ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్లో ఫిర్యాదు చేసేందుకు కాలినడకన వచ్చాడు. ఒకటికాదు రెండుకాదు ఏకంగా 40 కి. మీ నడిచి వచ్చాడు. ఉపాధి లేక డబ్బులు లేక ఆకలితోనే రెండ్రోజులు నడిచాడు.

ఛత్తీస్గఢ్లోని కోర్బా జిల్లాలో కదంఝరియాలో నివాసం ఉంటాడు ఆదివాసీ తెగకు చెందిన బుటూ రామ్. పోలీస్ స్టేషన్లో ఫిర్యాదు చేసేందుకు 40 కిలో మీటర్లు కాలినడకన వచ్చాడు. ఉపాధి లేక చేతిలో ఛార్జీలకు డబ్బులేక నడిచొచ్చాడు. తమ కోసం సర్కారు పథకాలు ఎన్నున్నా ఇంకా ఇలాంటి దుస్థితిలోనే మగ్గుతున్నారు ఎందరో గిరిపుత్రులు.

ఐదేళ్ల క్రితం అతన్ని భార్య వదిలేసి వేరొకరితో వెళ్లిపోయింది. తన ముగ్గురు కొడుకులు అతనితోనే ఉంటున్నారు. కొంత కాలం క్రితం ఆమె అతను ఇంట్లో లేని సమయంలో వచ్చి ముగ్గురు పిల్లల్ని తీసుకుని వెళ్లిపోయింది. ముగ్గురూ 7 నుంచి 13 ఏళ్ల మధ్య వయసున్న బాలురే. తన ముగ్గురు పిల్లలను తీసుకుని వెళ్లిపోవటంపై కలత చెందాడు బుటూరాం. తన పిల్లలను ఎలాగైనా తన వద్దకు తెచ్చుకోవాలనుకున్నాడు.

ఇదే అంశంపై ఫిర్యాదు చేసేందుకు 40 కి.మీ నడిచి పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ చేరుకున్నాడు. కదంఝరియాలోని వారి గూడెం నుంచి కోర్బాలోని పోలీస్ ప్రధాన కార్యాలయానికి సాయంత్రమనగా బయలుదేరి, మరుసటి రోజు మధ్యాహ్నానికి చేరుకున్నాడు.

అవును కాలి నడకన వచ్చాను.. నిన్న సాయంత్రం బయలుదేరాను. కదంఝరియా నుంచి 20 కి.మీ... లోపలికి ఓ 20 కి.మీ .. మొత్తం 40 కి.మీ నడిచాను. డీఎస్పీ సార్ నాకు తిరుగు ప్రయాణానికి డబ్బులిచ్చాడు.

"Also, in the 1960s, many English missions, headed by Professor Goodchild, came and worked in Tolmeita. Then the excavations stopped until the Polish expedition came in 2001 and continued from 2001 to 2010. They discovered a Roman villa with many fresco panels and mosaics floors currently present in the excavation site, with most moved inside the museum."

STORYLINE
A Polish excavation mission revisited the Tolmeita area in eastern Libya 10 years after their first visit to continue their research in the ancient Greek city of Ptolemais (Tolmeita).
The mission includes two members of the University of Warsaw, Maria and Piotr Jaworski, who specialize in ancient pottery, lamps and coins, and who will conduct extensive research on a number of pieces.
The Tolmeita Archaeological Museum, located in the historic town of Tolmeita in Jabal al-Akhdar (The Green Mountain), is a building which was originally used as a warehouse for the port of Tolmeita during Italian rule.
It was then used as a museum before World War II and reopened in 1952.
According to the head of the Polish excavation mission in Tolmeita, the importance of the ancient site is due to the fact that it represents "the impact of the journey of humanity in general."
Although small in size, the museum contains a unique collection of rare artefacts estimated at 150 pieces, including a decree dating back to 301 AD, written in Latin by Emperor Diocletian, which sets the price of goods in the Roman Empire.
The museum also contains a distinctive collection of statues, including a statue of Dionysus, the ancient Greek god of wine, a mosaic of Medusa, a statue of Diana, the Roman goddess of hunting and a statue of Queen Cleopatra the first, wife of King Ptolemy V.
In order to protect the archaeological holdings inside the old vault, the foundation stone of a new museum was laid nearby on 23 February 2017 to be an alternative to the old museum.
It will be the first museum to be built in Cyrenaica in the style and standards of international museums and all artefacts will be moved there.
Located between forests, sea and mountains, Tolmeita is a small town in northeastern Libya.
It is about 20 kilometres north of the city of Marj.
The ancient city of Ptolemais was founded in the 6th century BC and is one of the five ancient Greek cities in Libya.
