"Very exciting. It's great to be back. Of course we had no idea at the time of the rescue that this was such a big story and that all you people were so interested. And it still now after nine months, there seems to be just as much interest, but we sadly haven't had any time until now to spend in Thailand, so it's great to be back."
(Reporter: "Are you guys planning to meet the boys in Chaing Rai?")
SOUNDBITE (English) Dr. Richard Harris, cave rescuer:
"Absolutely. We are hoping to go up and see them next week and that's really exciting for us to go and see them and make sure they're well and see how they're doing after the rescue and hopefully we will find them in good shape"

10. SOUNDBITE (English) Dr. Craig Challen, cave rescuer:
"I think we're ready. We have a little bit more experience now. We seem to be the world record holders in cave-diving rescues now. Yes, if one comes along. But it's such a rare event. This is only the third ever cave-diving rescue in history and they only seem to come round every 20 years so we're probably not expecting another one to come in our lifetimes or certainly in our careers anyway. But we stand by ready all the same."

12. SOUNDBITE (English) Craig Challen, cave rescuer:
"Well it's been a matter of some hilarity with us, really. I'm glad it wasn't us because that would have been very professionally embarrassing for us, I can say. We are yet to find out the full story of exactly what happened in Tennessee so we are looking forward to speaking to Josh and getting the true story."

14. SOUNDBITE (English) Dr. Richard Harris, cave rescuer:
"Those boys and the coach were extraordinarily unlucky to have been caught out in the cave. The rain was completely unpredicted and it was just a terrible accident and certainly nobody was to blame. So I hope that doesn't stop people enjoying adventures and kids really need to do those sorts of things."

STORYLINE:
Two Australian doctors were in Thailand Friday to receive awards for their part in last year's dramatic rescue of a youth football team trapped in a flooded cave.
Dr. Richard Harris and Dr. Craig Challen were part of the international team of cave divers that rescued 12 boys and their coach who were trapped in a northern Thailand cave for almost three weeks.
During a press conference Friday in Bangkok, the rescuers said they were excited to be back in the country and were looking forward to seeing the boys again next week.
Later Friday, Harris and Challen will be awarded the Most Admirable Order of the Direkgunabhorn, an honour recognising service to Thailand.
In January, the men were jointly named Australians of the Year.
They are due to travel to Chiang Rai on Monday to meet up with the rescued players.
A mixed team of Thais and expert divers from a number of countries combined in the dramatic and successful rescue mission that gripped the world last July.
Challen said that should it ever happen again, they were ready to reprise their operation.
The men also joked about British rescue team member Josh Bratchley, who had himself been rescued this week from a cave in Tennessee.
Challen teased that getting trapped himself would have been "very professionally embarrassing."
Their final message was one for all young people: Don't let what happened to the Wild Boars scare you from exploring and having fun.
