బారాముల్లా జిల్లా నబల్నార్ సమీపంలోని కలాంత్రలో ఉగ్రవాదులు ఉన్నట్లు సమాచారం అందుకున్న భద్రతాదళాలు తనిఖీలు చేపట్టాయి. ముష్కరులు ఒక్కసారిగా కాల్పులకు తెగబడ్డారు. దీటుగా స్పందించిన భద్రతా దళాలు ఇద్దరు ఉగ్రవాదులను హతమార్చాయి. ఎదురుకాల్పుల్లో గాయపడిన ఇద్దరు సైనికులు, ఓ అధికారిని బదామీభాగ్ కంటోన్మెంట్ సైనిక ఆసుపత్రికి తరలించారు. ఇంకా కాల్పులు కొనసాగుతున్నాయి.

LEADIN
Britain's most famous clock is feeling blue.
Details on Big Ben's North Dial face have been restored to their original colour, Prussian blue, as part of major restoration works.
STORYLINE
This iconic clock is celebrating a return to its Victorian splendour.
The newly restored north face was revealed today. The clock dial frames and the hands are being returned to their original colour scheme, and now feature a freshly painted Prussian blue frame and hands. There's also newly made pot-opal glass and gilded surfaces. It's all part of a four year restoration project.
The dials and clock hands had been painted black during previous restorations.
The eyes of the world are currently focused on Westminster, as the UK parliament battles with the complexities of Brexit.
For months the famous Elizabeth Tower and its clocks have been shrouded in scaffolding, as if hiding from the chaos in the building below.
The tower is popularly known as Big Ben, which is technically the name of its main bell.
The 13.5 British ton (15.1 U.S. ton) Big Ben has ceased to sound the hours while the clock is stopped. It's being cleaned and checked for cracks.
The bongs stopped on Aug. 21 2018 to protect workers during the repair project. They aren't due to resume regular service until 2021.
The bell, which had sounded the time almost uninterrupted since 1859 , rings out at 118 decibels - the equivalent of a jet plane taking off.
Parliamentary officials say it will still be heard on special occasions such as New Year's Eve, Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday.
The four smaller bells chime the quarter hours, while Big Ben bongs out the hour.
The clock and tower became a symbol of defiance when they survived German bombing raids during World War II — though one of the four clock faces was blown out.
In 1955 the clock face and bell got one of several facelifts ahead of the building's 100th birthday celebrations.

The clock started ticking on 31 May 1859, and the bell was struck for the first time six weeks later.
In 1834 The Palace of Westminster burnt to the ground. A clock tower was added to the replacement building.
In 2009 the famous bell was celebrating its 150th year.
Big Ben has been stopped several times since it first sounded in 1859, but the current restoration project will mark its longest period of silence.
The 29 million pound ($42 million) renovation will include work to repair corrosion to the cast-iron roof and to stop water seepage that threatens to damage the stonework on the 160-year-old building.
