అనంతపురం జిల్లా జరుట్ల రాంపురంలో రేషన్ బియ్యాన్ని అక్రమంగా తరలిస్తున్న వాహనాన్ని గ్రామస్థులు పట్టుకున్నారు. సుమారు 2వందల బస్తాల బియ్యాన్ని కర్ణాటక తరలిస్తున్నట్లు గుర్తించిన గ్రామస్థులు అడ్డుకున్నారు. ఇవి ఎక్కడవని ప్రశ్నించగా... సదరు వ్యక్తులు పరారయ్యారు. దీంతో గ్రామస్థులు పోలీసులకు సమాచారాన్ని అందించారు. రేషన్ బియ్యాన్ని, వాహనాన్ని పోలీసులు స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు. వీటిని తరలిస్తున్న డ్రైవర్ ను పట్టుకుని పోలీసులు విచారిస్తున్నారు.
