బాక్సింగ్లో ప్రత్యర్థి పంచ్లు ఓ బాక్సర్ ప్రాణాలు తీశాయి. గత శుక్రవారం అమెరికాలోని మేరీలాండ్లో జరిగిన బౌట్లో రష్యా ఆటగాడు మాక్సిమ్ దాదాషేవ్ తీవ్రంగా గాయపడ్డాడు. అనంతరం ఆసుపత్రిలో చికిత్స పొందుతు మరణించాడీ 28 ఏళ్ల ఆటగాడు.

బాక్సింగ్ రింగ్లో ప్రత్యర్థి విసిరిన పంచ్లు యువ బాక్సర్ ప్రాణాలు బలి తీసుకున్నాయి. రష్యాకు చెందిన యువ బాక్సర్ మాక్సిమ్ దాదాషేవ్ అమెరికాలోని ఓ ఆసుపత్రిలో చికిత్స పొందుతూ మృతి చెందాడు.

జులై 19న మేరిలాండ్లోని ఆక్సన్ హిల్లో సుబ్రియల్ మటియస్(ప్యుర్టోరికో)తో బాక్సింగ్ ఫైట్లో పాల్గొన్నాడు మాక్సిమ్. ప్రపంచ బాక్సింగ్‌ సమాఖ్య (ఐబీఎఫ్‌) సూపర్‌ లైట్‌ వెయిట్‌ విభాగంలో బౌట్‌ జరిగింది. ఇందులో ప్రత్యర్థి మటియస్‌ వరుసగా విసిరిన పంచ్‌ల ధాటికి 28 ఏళ్ల మాక్సిమ్కు బాగా గాయలయ్యాయి.

దాదాపు 10 రౌండ్లు పోరాడిన ఈ యువ బాక్సర్... పదకొండో రౌండ్లో బౌట్ ఆపాలని కోరుతూ కుప్పకూలాడు. వెంటనే స్పందించిన నిర్వాహకులు అతడిని ఆసుపత్రిలో చేర్చారు. మెదడు లోపల తీవ్ర రక్తస్రావం కావడంతో కోమాలోకి వెళ్లిపోయాడు దాదాషేవ్. అనంతరం చిక్సిత పొందుతూ మంగళవారం అతడు చనిపోయినట్లు వైద్యులు వెల్లడించారు. బాక్సర్ డడ్‌షెవ్‌ మృతిపై భార్య, కుమారుడు సహా స్నేహితులు, కుటింబీకులు, సన్నిహితులు కన్నీటి పర్యంతమవుతున్నారు.

రష్యాలోని సెయింట్ పీటర్స్బర్గ్కు చెందిన దాదాషేవ్... ఇప్పటివరకు 13 బౌట్లలో విజయం సాధించాడు. కేవలం ఒక్క మ్యాచ్లో మాత్రమే ఓటమిపాలయ్యాడు. వీటిలో 10 విజయాలు నాకౌట్లోనే సొంతం చేసుకున్నాడు. ఈ ఘటనపై రష్యా బాక్సింగ్ ఫెడరేషన్ విచారణకు ఆదేశించింది. ఈ మ్యాచ్లో విజయం సాధించిన మటియస్ తర్వాతి మ్యాచ్లో టైటిల్ కోసం జోష్ టేలర్తో పోటీపడనున్నాడు.

STORYLINE:
US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is making some of her strongest comments yet about the House possibly proceeding with impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump.
Pelosi says a "cone of silence" from the White House that's not providing documents and witness testimony "will not prevent us from going forward." She adds, "In fact, it's even more grounds to go forward."
Pelosi tells reporters she wants "the strongest possible hand" by continuing the House's court actions aimed at forcing White House cooperation.
She says the stronger the House's case, "the worse the Senate will look for letting the president off the hook" if there's an impeachment trial.
Pelosi spoke to reporters after former special counsel Robert Mueller testified to two House committees that his report on 2016 Russian election interference not exonerate Trump.
