స్పెయిన్ వేదికగా జరిగిన 'కాటిఫ్ టోర్నీ'లో భారత మహిళా ఫుట్బాల్ జట్టు అదరగొట్టింది. మూడో స్థానంలో నిలిచి టోర్నీ అధ్యక్షుడు ఎలిస్యూ గోమెజ్ టోర్మోస్ ప్రశంసలు దక్కించుకుంది. అతడి చేతుల మీదగా 'ఫెయిర్ ప్లే' అవార్డునూ అందుకుంది.

స్పెయిన్ ఆతిథ్యమిచ్చిన ఫుట్బాల్ టోర్నీ 'కాటిఫ్ కప్'లో భారత మహిళా క్రీడాకారిణులు అద్భుత ప్రదర్శన చేశారు. నాలుగు మ్యాచ్లు ఆడి రెండింటిలో గెలిచారు. బొలీవియా, మారిటేనియా దేశాలపై విజయం సాధించి... విల్లారియల్, స్పెయిన్ అండర్-19 చేతిలో ఓడిపోయారు. ఫలితంగా మూడో స్థానంతో సరిపెట్టుకున్న మహిళా జట్టుకు మంచి ప్రదర్శనకు గానూ 'ఫెయిర్ ప్లే' ట్రోఫీ లభించింది.

2018 ఎడిషన్ కన్నా ఈ సారి గొప్ప ప్రదర్శన ఇచ్చారని కాటిఫ్ టోర్నీ అధ్యక్షుడు ఎలిస్యూ గోమెజ్ భారత ఆటగాళ్లపై ప్రశంసలు కురిపించారు.

STORYLINE:
Alex Albon will move from Toro Rosso and replace Pierre Gasly at sister team Red Bull for the remainder of the 2019 Formula 1 season.
Gasly has struggled for form since being drafted into Red Bull as replacement for now-Renault driver Daniel Ricciardo, and the 23-year-old will return to Toro Rosso in a straight swap.
Frenchman Gasly has only managed to accrue 63 points compared to Red Bull's main man Max Verstappen, who has won two of the last four Grand Prixs - in Austria and Germany - and sits third in the championship on 181 points.
Albon has impressed in his debut campaign with Toro Rosso and the move will give Red Bull the opportunity to evaluate who will drive alongside Verstappen in 2020.
The next Grand Prix takes place in Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium on the 1st September, where Red Bull last won in 2014.
