India Wins Womens Asian Hockey Championship 2023 : ఝార్ఖండ్ వేదికగా జరిగిన మహిళల ఆసియా హాకీ ఛాంపియన్స్ ట్రోఫీని భారత్ కైవసం చేసుకుంది. ఆదివారం రాంచీలో జరిగిన ఫైనల్లో 4-0 గోల్స్ తేడాతో జపాన్ జట్టును చిత్తు చేసింది. 17వ నిమిషంలో సంగీత చేసిన గోల్తో అధిక్యంలోకి వెళ్లిన భారత జట్టు.. అనంతరం దూకుడు పెంచింది. ఈ క్రమంలో కొన్ని గోల్స్ తప్పిపోయాయి. కానీ నేహా (46వ), లాల్రెమ్సియామి (57వ), వందన కటారియా (60వ) గోల్స్ చేయడం వల్ల భారత్ ఘన విజయం సాధించింది. ఈ టోర్నీలో ఆడిన 7 మ్యాచ్ల్లోనూ భారత్ గెలవడం గమనార్హం. ఇక ఫైనల్లో ఓడిపోయి జపాన్ రెండో స్థానంలో నిలిచింది. ప్లేఆఫ్స్లో సౌత్కొరియాను 2-1 గోల్స్ తేడాతో చిత్తు చేసిన చైనా.. మూడో స్థానానికి పరిమితమైంది.
రాంచీలోని హాకీ స్టేడియంలో నాలుగు ఫ్లడ్లైట్లలో ఒకటి మొరాయించడం వల్ల ఫైనల్ మ్యాచ్ 50 నిమిషాలు ఆలస్యంగా ప్రారంభమైంది. టీమ్ ఇండియా మొదటి నుంచే ఆధిపత్యం కనబర్చింది. స్టాండ్స్లో ఉన్న హాకీ పురుషుల జట్టు మహిళల జట్టు కేరింతలు కొడుతూ ఉత్సాహాన్ని ఇచ్చారు.

మహిళల ఆసియా చాంపియన్స్‌ ట్రోఫీని భారత్ గెలవడం ఇది రెండోసారి. 2016లో భారత జట్టు మొదటిసారి ఈ టైటిల్‌ను సాధించింది. కాగా ఈ ట్రోఫీని కైవసం చేసుకున్న భారత జట్టుకు హాకీ ఇండియా నజరానా ప్రకటించింది. జట్టులోని ప్రతి సభ్యురాలికి రూ.3 లక్షలు చొప్పున అందజేస్తామని తెలిపింది. ఇక సపోర్ట్ స్టాఫ్కు రూ. 1.5 లక్షల చొప్పున ఇస్తామని చెప్పింది.
