'దీపా ఒలింపిక్స్ పర్యటనపై ఇప్పుడే ఏం చెప్పలేం'
భారత జిమ్నాస్టిక్స్ సంచలనం దీపాకర్మాకర్ మోకాలి గాయం ఆందోళనకు గురిచేస్తోంది. ఇంక నయం కాకపోవడం వల్ల ఒలింపిక్స్లో ఆడుతుందా లేదా అనే సందిగ్ధత నెలకొంది. ఆమె కోచ్ బిస్వేశ్వర్ నంది కూడా ఇప్పుడే ఏం చెప్పలేమని అంటున్నాడు.

2016 రియో ఒలింపిక్స్లో తృటిలో కాంస్యాన్ని చేజార్చుకుంది భారత జిమ్నాస్టిక్ క్రీడాకారిణి దీపాకర్మాకర్. మోకాలి గాయం కారణంగా కీలక టోర్నీలకు దూరమైన దీపా ఒలింపిక్స్లో ఆడుతుందా లేదా అనే దానిపై సర్వత్రా ఆందోళన నెలకొంది. ఈ విషయంపై ఇప్పుడే ఏం చెప్పలేమని అంటున్నారు దీపా కోచ్ బిస్వేశ్వర్ నంది.
"ప్రస్తుతానికి ఏం చేయలేని పరిస్థితుల్లో ఉన్నాం. వైద్యుల సలహా మేరకే ఏ నిర్ణయమైనా తీసుకోగలం. ఆమె పూర్తిగా కోలుకుంటే వైద్యులు, ఫిజియో సలహా తీసుకుని ఒలింపిక్స్ భవితవ్యం గురించి చెబుతాను" -బిస్వేశ్వర్ నంది, దీపాకర్మాకర్ కోచ్
దీపా పూర్తిగా ఎన్ని రోజుల్లో కోలుకుంటుందో చెప్పలేనని, అయితే ఇప్పుడే ఆశలు వదిలేసుకోలేదని అంటున్నాడు బిస్వేశ్వర్ నంది.
"ఆమెకు ఎప్పుడు నయమవుతుందో ఇప్పుడే చెప్పలేను. ఇన్ని రోజులని సమయమంటూ లేదు. గాయానికి సంబంధించి చికిత్స కొనసాగుతోంది. అయితే మేము ఇప్పటికీ ఆశల్ని వదులుకోలేదు. దీపా ఆరోగ్య పరిస్థితిపై ఇదంతా ఆధారపడి ఉంది. ఒక్క శాతం ఆమెకు ప్రమాదముందని తెలిసినా.. మేము రిస్క్ తీసుకోలేం" -బిస్వేశ్వర్ నంది, దీపాకర్మాకర్ కోచ్
మార్చిలో జరిగిన బకు వరల్డ్కప్లో దీపా మోకాలికి గాయమైంది. అనంతరం కోలుకున్నా దోహా ప్రపంచకప్లో రాణించలేకపోయింది. గత నెలలో మంగోలియాలో జరిగిన ఆసియా ఛాంపియన్షిప్స్లో గాయం తిరగబెట్టడం వల్ల మొత్తంగా టోర్నీకే దూరమైంది దీపా.
అక్టోబరు 4 నుంచి 13 వరకు జర్మనీలో ప్రపంచ ఛాంపియన్షిప్స్ జరగనున్నాయి. ఇందులో రాణిస్తే టోక్యో ఒలింపిక్స్కు అర్హత సాధించే అవకాశముంది. ఈ పరిస్థితుల్లో దీపా గాయం అందరిని కలవరపెడుతోంది.

STORYLINE:
US President Donald Trump and the Reverend Al Sharpton traded barbs on Monday over the president's recent tweets referring to Representative Elijah Cummings' majority-black Baltimore district as a "disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess" where "no human being would want to live".
Facing growing accusations of racism, the president insisted the tweets were not racist.
He labelled Cummings himself as a racist and lashed out at his critics, including Sharpton, who was travelling to Baltimore to participate in a conference to boost homeownership by African-Americans.
"Al is a con man, a troublemaker, always looking for a score," Trump tweeted ahead of the press conference, adding that the civil rights activist and MSNBC host "Hates Whites & Cops!"
Sharpton fired back at the president in a tweet of his own, saying: "I do make trouble for bigots."
During a morning press conference, Sharpton said of the president: "He's thin skinned and not really matured that well, but he has a particular venom for blacks and people of colour."
"He attacks Nancy Pelosi, he attacks Chuck Schumer. He attacks other whites, but he never said that their districts or their states are places that no human being wants to live."
Sharpton was joined in his criticism by former Lt. Gov. Michael Steele, who has become a significant critic of Trump during the president's first term.
