బ్యాంకాక్ వేదికగా నిర్వహించిన ఆసియా ఆర్చరీ ఛాంపియన్షిప్లో భారత్ సత్తా చాటింది. మంగళవారం జరిగిన పురుషుల సింగిల్స్ విభాగంలో అతన్దాస్ కాంస్యం సంపాదించాడు. ప్రత్యర్థి జిన్ హయెక్ (కొరియా)పై 6-5 తేడాతో నెగ్గాడు.

ఈ పతకానికి ముందు సోమవారం జరిగిన రికర్వ్ మిక్స్డ్ డబుల్స్లో దీపికా కుమారితో కలిసి కాంస్యం గెలుపొందాడు అతన్దాస్. మిక్స్డ్ విభాగం ఫైనల్లో మరో భారత జట్టు అభిషేక్ వర్మ, జ్యోతి సురేఖ కలిసి.. చైనా తైపీస్ ద్వయంతో బుధవారం తలపడనున్నారు.
