కబడ్డీలోనూ స్వర్ణం.. ఆసియా గేమ్స్‌లో చివరి నిమిషం వరకు ఉత్కంఠభరితంగా సాగిన కబడ్డీ ఫైనల్లో భారత జట్టు పసిడి పతకాన్ని సొంతం చేసుకుంది. ఇరు జట్లు 28-28తో సమానంగా ఉన్న వేళ భారత రైడర్‌ నవీన్‌ చేసిన రైడ్‌తో వివాదం చెలరేగింది. అంపైర్లు చాలాసేపు చర్చల తర్వాత తొలుత భారత్కు మూడు పాయింట్లు కేటాయించారు. కానీ దీనిపై ఇరాన్ ఆటగాళ్లు నిరసన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. మరోసారి తమ నిర్ణయం మార్చుకున్న అంపైర్లు ఇరు జట్లకు చెరో పాయింట్‌ కేటాయించారు. దీనిపై భారత ఆటగాళ్లు తీవ్ర నిరసన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. చాలాసేపటి వరకు ఈ వివాదం కొనసాగింది. ఎంతకీ ఆటగాళ్లు నిరసన విరమించకపోవడంతో చాలా సేపు తర్జనభర్జన తర్వాత మ్యాచ్‌ను సస్పెండ్‌ చేస్తున్నట్లు రిఫరీలు ప్రకటించారు. తర్వాత అన్ని వీడియోలను పరిశీలించి భారత్కు మూడు పాయింట్లు కేటాయించారు. చివరకు 33-29 తేడాతో ఇరాన్‌పై గెలిచిన భారత్ స్వర్ణ పతకాన్ని కైవసం చేసుకుంది.

రెజ్లింగ్‌లో రజతం.. హాకీలో కాంస్యం.. రెజ్లింగ్‌లో పురుషుల 86 కేజీల ప్రీస్టైల్‌ విభాగంలో దీపక్ పునియా సిల్వర్ మెడల్ దక్కించుకున్నాడు. హసన్ యజ్దానీ (ఇరాన్)తో జరిగిన ఫైనల్లో దీపక్ 0-10 తేడాతో ఓడిపోయి సిల్వర్ మెడల్తో సరిపెట్టుకున్నాడు. మరోవైపు, హాకీలో భారత మహిళల జట్టు బ్రాంజ్ మెడల్ దక్కించుకుంది. డిఫెండింగ్ ఛాంపియన్‌ జపాన్‌పై 2-1 తేడాతో విజయం సాధించింది.
చెస్‌లో రెండు రజతాలు.. చెస్‌లో భారత్ రెండు సిల్వర్ మెడల్స్ సాధించింది. టీమ్‌ ఈవెంట్‌లో పురుషుల, మహిళల జట్లు వెండి పతకాలు అందుకున్నాయి. కోనేరు హంపీ, హారిక ద్రోణవల్లి, వైశాలి, వంతిక, సవితలతో కూడిన మహిళా బృందం రజత పతకాలను ముద్దాడింది. పురుషుల జట్టులో ప్రజ్ఞానంద, గుకేష్, విదిత్ గుజరాతీ, అర్జున్, హరికృష్ణలు రజతాలు సొంతం చేసుకున్నారు. దీంతో భారత్ పతకాల సంఖ్య 107కి చేరింది. ఇందులో 28 స్వర్ణాలు, 38 రజతాలు, 41 కాంస్య పతకాలున్నాయి.
