Siraj 6 Wickets : 2023 ఆసియా కప్ టైటిల్ పోరులో భారత్ విజయం సాధించింది. ఫైనల్ మ్యాచ్​లో శ్రీలంకపై పూర్తి ఆధిపత్యం చలాయించిన సిరాజ్​పై ట్విట్టర్​లో ప్రశంసం జల్లు కురుస్తోంది.

Siraj 6 Wickets : 2023 ఆసియా కప్ టైటిల్ భారత్ వశమైంది. ఫైనల్స్​లో శ్రీలంకను చిత్తు చిత్తుగా ఓడించిన రోహిత్ సేన.. ఎనిమిదో ఆసియా కప్ టైటిల్​ను కైవసం చేసుకుంది. అయితే భారత్ విజయంలో అత్యంత కీలక పాత్ర పోషించాడు మహమ్మద్ సిరాజ్. టాస్ గెలిచి బ్యాటింగ్​కు దిగిన ఆతిథ్య జట్టుపై ఆరంభం నుంచే నిప్పులు చెరిగాడు. ఇన్నింగ్స్​ రెండో ఓవర్​ను మెయిడెన్​గా మలిచిన సిరాజ్.. నాలుగో ఓవర్​లో 4 వికెట్లతో చెలరేగాడు. దీంతో లంక 4 ఓవర్లు ముగిసేసరికే సగం వికెట్లు కోల్పోయింది.

తర్వాత ఆరో ఓవర్​లో కెప్టెన్ రోహిత్ మళ్లీ సిరాజ్​కు బంతినిచ్చాడు. ఈ ఓవర్లో కూడా సిరాజ్.. షనక (0)ను పెవిలియన్ పంపాడు. సిరాజ్ ధాటికి లంక ఇన్నింగ్స్ పేకమేడలా కూలిపోయింది. ఆతిథ్య జట్టు బ్యాటర్లు క్రీజులోకి ఇలా వచ్చి అలా వెళ్లిపోయారు. ఈ క్రమంలో అతడు కెరీర్ బెస్ట్ ప్రదర్శన చేశాడు. 7 ఓవర్లు బౌలింగ్ చేసిన సిరాజ్ 21 పరుగులిచ్చి 6 వికెట్లు నేలకూల్చాడు. దీంతో ఫైనల్​లో 'మ్యాన్​ ఆఫ్ ది మ్యాచ్' అవార్డును దక్కించుకున్నాడు. సిరాజ్ కెరీర్ బెస్ట్​ స్పెల్​పై పలువురు మాజీలు, ప్రముఖులు ట్విట్టర్​లో ప్రశంసల జల్లు కురిపిస్తున్నారు.​

"ఇందంతా నమ్మలేకపోతున్నాను. గతంలో నేను తిరువనంతపురంలో ఆడిన మ్యాచ్​లో నాలుగు వికెట్లు తీశా. ఇక అప్పటి నుంచి 5 వికెట్ల ఘనతను అందుకోలేకపోయా. ఇక ఈ మ్యాచ్​లో నేను పెద్దగా కష్టపడలేదు. సాధారణంగా నేను బంతిని స్వింగ్ చేస్తా.. కానీ ఈ టోర్నీలో చివరి 4 మ్యాచ్​ల్లో బంతి స్వింగ్ కాలేదు. ఈ మ్యాచ్​లో అద్భుతంగా స్వింగ్ అయ్యింది. దీంతో ఈజీగా వికెట్లు పడగొట్టాను" అని మ్యాచ్ అనంతరం సిరాజ్ అన్నాడు.

గ్రౌండ్స్‌మెన్‌కు క్యాష్ ప్రైజ్.. ఈ మ్యాచ్​లో సిరాజ్ అద్భుత ప్రదర్శనకుగాను అతడికి మ్యాన్​ ఆఫ్ ది మ్యాచ్ అవార్డు లభించింది. అయితే ఈ ప్రైజ్​మనీని శ్రీలంక గ్రౌండ్​ స్టాఫ్​కు ఇచ్చి.. తన గొప్ప మనసును చాటుకున్నాడు. వారి వల్లే ఈ టోర్నీ సాధ్యమైందని వారిని కష్టాన్ని గుర్తుచేశాడు.
