ఉత్కంఠ పోరులో పాక్​పై ఇంగ్లండ్​ గెలుపు

సౌతాంప్టన్​ వేదికగా పాక్​తో జరిగిన ఉత్కంఠ పోరులో ఇంగ్లండ్ 12 పరుగుల తేడాతో గెలిచింది. ఇంగ్లండ్​ బ్యాట్స్​మెన్​ బట్లర్ శతకంతో చెలరేగగా...రాయ్, మోర్గాన్​లు ఆకట్టుకున్నారు. 55 బంతులకు 110 పరుగులు చేసిన బట్లర్​కు మ్యాన్​ ఆఫ్​ ది మ్యాచ్​ దక్కింది. పాక్​ ఆటగాడు ఫఖార్ జమాన్ శతకం వృథా అయింది.

పాకిస్థాన్​తో జరిగిన రెండో వన్డేలో ఇంగ్లండ్ 12 పరుగుల తేడాతో గెలిచింది. ఇంగ్లండ్​లోని సౌతాంప్టన్ వేదికగా జరిగిందీ మ్యాచ్​. టాస్ ఓడి మొదట బ్యాటింగ్​ చేసిన ఇంగ్లండ్​ బ్యాట్స్​మెన్​ ఆకాశమే హద్దుగా చెలరేగి ఆడారు. ముఖ్యంగా జాస్​ బట్లర్​ దూకుడుగా ఆడి 55 బంతుల్లో 110 పరుగులు బాదాడు. జేసన్​ రాయ్(87), బెయిర్ స్టో(51), మోర్గాన్(71) అర్ధశతకాలతో ఆకట్టుకున్నారు. 374 పరుగుల లక్ష్యాన్ని ఛేదించేందుకు బరిలో దిగిన పాకిస్థాన్​ చివరి వరకు వచ్చి ఓటమి పాలైంది. ఫఖార్ జమాన్(138) శతకం వృథా అయింది. ఇంగ్లీషు బౌలర్లలో వోక్స్, ప్లంకెట్ చెరో వికెట్ తీసుకున్నారు.

STORYLINE:
Three liberated hostages arrived from Burkina Faso to a military airport outside the French capital on Saturday where they were welcomed by President Emmanuel Macron.
French tourists Patrick Picque and Laurent Lassimouillas, along with a South Korean citizen, were liberated in a military operation in the West African nation after they were kidnapped in neighbouring Benin.
Officials said two French special forces officers and four "terrorists" were killed in Friday's pre-dawn military operation.
A fourth freed hostage, an American national, was expected to be repatriated separately.
Earlier on Saturday Burkina Faso's president Roch Kabore received the French and South Korean hostages in the presidential palace in the capital, Ouagadougou, to wish them well as they flew to Paris.
Speaking at the palace, Lassimouillas said his thoughts were with the families of the soldiers who "lost their lives to free us from this hell."
Roch Kabore tweeted Saturday he wished the two French tourists and the South Korean citizen a safe return to their respective families.
