స్టెయిన్కు గాయం.. ఐపీఎల్కు దూరం

ఐపీఎల్లో ప్రస్తుతం బెంగళూరుకు ప్రాతినిధ్యం వహిస్తున్నాడు డేల్ స్టెయిన్. భుజం గాయం కారణంగా మిగతా మ్యాచ్లకు దూరమయ్యాడు.

ఐపీఎల్లో ఇటీవల ఆర్సీబీ తరఫున ఆడిన రెండు మ్యాచ్ల్లోనూ అదరగొట్టాడు స్టెయిన్. కానీ తాజాగా భుజం గాయం కారణంగా మిగతా ఐపీఎల్ మ్యాచ్లకు దూరమయ్యాడీ దక్షిణాఫ్రికా పేసర్.

"స్టెయిన్ భుజానికి గాయమైంది. అందుకే బుధవారం పంజాబ్తో మ్యాచ్లో ఆడలేదు. రానున్న ఐపీఎల్ మ్యాచ్ల్లో అతడు అందుబాటులో ఉండడు. స్టెయిన్ రాకతో జట్టులో ఆత్మవిశ్వాసం పెరిగింది. అతడు త్వరగా కోలుకోవాలని ఆర్సీబీ యాజమాన్యం కోరుకుంటోంది" -సంజీవ్ చుర్వాలా, ఆర్సీబీ ఛైర్మన్

దాదాపు రెండు సంవత్సరాల తర్వాత ఐపీఎల్లో అడుగుపెట్టాడు స్టెయిన్. కోల్కతా, చెన్నైతో జరిగిన మ్యాచ్ల్లో నాలుగు వికెట్లు తీసి ఆకట్టుకున్నాడు.

ఇంగ్లండ్లో క్రికెట్ ప్రపంచకప్ మే 30నుంచి ప్రారంభం కానుంది. అప్పటికి జాతీయ జట్టులోకి అందుబాటులోకి వస్తాడా లేదా అనేది చూడాలి.

STORYLINE:
Pakistan's minority Christians gathered at a church in the capital, Islamabad, amid tight security to pay their respects to the victims of the Easter bombings in Sri Lanka.
It was the first such gathering in Islamabad since Sunday's coordinated suicide bombings targeted three churches and three hotels, killing at least 359 people and wounding 500 more.
Participants at the special service lit candles and observed a minute of silence to remember the victims.
Sri Lanka's top diplomat Noordeen Mohamed Shaheid and a Pakistani Bishop Joseph Arshad attended the memorial.
