సిక్సర్ల మోత మోగించిన మోర్గాన్​

మాంచెస్టర్​ వేదికగా అఫ్గానిస్థాన్​తో జరుగుతున్న ప్రపంచకప్​ మ్యాచ్​లో ఇంగ్లాండ్ ఆటగాడు ఇయాన్ మోర్గాన్ సిక్సర్ల రికార్డులు సృష్టించాడు. వన్డేల్లో ఒకే ఇన్నింగ్స్​లో అత్యధిక సిక్సర్లు బాదిన ఆటగాడిగా మోర్గాన్​ ఈ ఘనత సాధించాడు. ఈ జాబితాలో భారత హిట్​ మ్యాన్​ రోహిత్​శర్మను వెనక్కు నెట్టి చోటు దక్కించుకున్నాడు.

సిక్స్​ల రికార్డులు బద్దలుగొట్టిన మోర్​'గన్​'

ప్రపంచకప్​లో ఫేవరెట్​గా బరిలోకి దిగిన ఇంగ్లాండ్​ అఫ్గాన్​ జ్టటుకు చుక్కులు చూపించింది. మాంచెస్టర్​ వేదికగా ఓల్డ్​ ట్రాఫోర్డ్​ మైదానంలో పరుగుల వరద పారించారు ఇంగ్లీష్​ బ్యాట్స్​మెన్​. ఇంగ్లాండ్​ సారథి ఇయాన్​ మోర్గాన్​​ ఆకాశమే హద్దుగా చెలరేగగా... రికార్డులు ఉఫ్​ మని చెరిగిపోయాయి. వన్డేల్లో ఒక ఇన్నింగ్స్​లో అత్యధిక సిక్సర్ల రికార్డును తన పేరిట లిఖించుకున్నాడు మోర్గాన్​. 17 సిక్సర్లు కొట్టిన ఈ ఆటగాడు... ఇప్పటివరకు రోహిత్​ శర్మ, క్రిస్​గేల్​, డివిలియర్స్​ పేరిట ఉన్న 16 సిక్సర్ల రికార్డును వెనక్కు నెట్టాడు. మోర్గాన్​ దెబ్బకు ఇంగ్లీష్ జట్టు 50 ఓవర్లలో 397 పరుగులు చేసింది.

జట్టుగా ఇదే అత్యధికం..

వన్డేల్లో ఒక ఇన్నింగ్స్‌లో అత్యధిక సిక్సర్ల రికార్డును చెరిపేసింది ఇంగ్లాండ్‌ జట్టు. గతంలో వెస్టిండీస్‌ టీం సాధించిన 24 సిక్సర్ల ఘనతను తన పేరిట నమోదుచేసుకుంది మోర్గాన్​ సేన.

Also, the visit could be a breakthrough for Kim, who has not made any significant accomplishment from the Hanoi Summit and Vladivostok Summit."

STORYLINE:
South Korea's foreign ministry on Tuesday said it hopes Chinese President Xi Jinping's meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will further denuclearization negotiations.
Spokesman Kim In-chul said in a briefing that the government hopes the visit will help in the "establishment of lasting peace on the peninsula."
Chinese state broadcaster CCTV said the trip on Thursday and Friday will be the first by a Chinese president in 14 years.
The visit comes as negotiations between the US and North Korea appear to have reached an impasse.
Shin Beom-chul, director of the Center for Security and Unification at Asan Institute for Policy Studies, said the trip might be part of Xi's plan to "show the US that he has leverage in negotiations with North Korea."  
Shin said the visit boasts well for Kim by showing the world that "his country is no longer isolated diplomatically."
It could also be a breakthrough for Kim, who has failed to gain any significant benefits from his summit in Hanoi with President Trump and meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Vladivostok.
