టెస్టు ఛాంపియన్​షిప్: ఇంగ్లాండ్​ టాప్​.. భారత్​ డౌన్​

ఐసీసీ టెస్టు ఛాంపియన్​షిప్​ ర్యాంకింగ్స్​లో ఇంగ్లాండ్​​ సత్తా చాటింది. టీమ్​ఇండియాపై తొలి టెస్టు​ విజయం తర్వాత ఈ ర్యాంకింగ్స్​లో అగ్రస్థానాన్ని సొంతం చేసుకుంది. ఫలితంగా టెస్టు ఛాంఫియన్​షిప్​ ఫైనల్​లో అర్హత సాధించే అవకాశాల్ని కాపాడుకుంది.

ఐసీసీ తాజాగా విడుదల చేసిన ప్రపంచ టెస్టు ఛాంపియన్​షిప్​ పాయింట్ల పట్టికలో 70.2 విజయశాతంతో టాపర్​గా నిలిచింది ఇంగ్లాండ్​. మంగళవారం టీమ్​ఇండియాపై తొలి టెస్టు గెలిచిన అనంతరం టేబుల్​లో తన స్థానాన్ని మెరుగుపరుచుకుని అగ్రస్థానానికి ఎగబాకింది. దీంతో ప్రపంచ టెస్టు ఛాంఫియన్​షిప్​ ఫైనల్​లో అర్హత సాధించేందుకు ఆశల్ని సజీవం చేసుకుంది. ఇదే మ్యాచు ఫలితం కారణంగా రెండో స్థానంలో ఉన్న భారత్ 68.3 విజయ శాతంతో​ నాలుగో స్థానానికి పడిపోయింది.
