స్కాట్లాండ్, నెదర్లాండ్ మధ్య జరిగిన టీ20 మ్యాచ్లో రికార్డుల మోత మోగించాడు స్కాట్లాండ్ ఓపెనర్ జార్జ్ మున్సే. 41 బంతుల్లోనే సెంచరీ చేసి టీ20ల్లో రెండో అత్యంత వేగవంతమైన శతకాన్ని నమోదు చేశాడు. రోహిత్ శర్మ (భారత్), డేవిడ్ మిల్లర్ (దక్షిణాఫ్రికా), సుదేశ్ విక్రమ శేఖర (చెక్ రిపబ్లిక్) 35 బంతుల్లోనే ఈ ఘనత సాధించి మొదటి స్థానంలో ఉన్నారు.

ఈ మ్యాచ్లో ఓపెనర్గా వచ్చిన మున్సే 56 బంతుల్లో 127 పరుగులు చేసి అజేయంగా నిలిచాడు. ఇందులో 5 ఫోర్లు, 14 సిక్సర్లు ఉన్నాయి. ఒక ఇన్నింగ్స్లో అత్యధిక సిక్సర్లు కొట్టిన జాబితాలో రెండో స్థానంలో నిలిచాడీ ఆటగాడు. హజ్రతుల్లా జజాయ్ (అఫ్గానిస్థాన్) 16 సిక్సర్లతో మొదటి స్థానంలో ఉన్నాడు.

మ్యాక్స్ ఒడౌడ్ వేసిన 13 ఓవర్లో బీభత్సమే సృష్టించాడు మున్సే. ఆరు బంతుల్లో వరుసగా 6,4,4,6,6,6 బాది 32 పరుగులు రాబట్టాడు. ఒక్క ఓవర్లో యువరాజ్ సింగ్ సాధించిన 36 పరుగుల తర్వాత ఇదే అత్యధికం.

మరో ఓపెనర్ కోయిట్జర్తో కలిసి మొదటి వికెట్కు 91 బంతుల్లోనే 200 పరుగుల భారీ భాగస్వామ్యాన్ని నెలకొల్పాడు మున్సే. వీరిద్దరి ధాటికి స్కాట్లాండ్ నిర్ణీత 20 ఓవర్లలో 3 వికెట్ల నష్టానికి 252 పరుగులు చేసింది. అనంతరం బ్యాటింగ్కు దిగిన నెదర్లాండ్ 194 పరుగులకే పరిమితమైంది. ఫలితంగా 58 పరుగుల తేడాతో విజయం సాధించింది స్కాట్లాండ్.

Hong Kong police said Monday they had arrested 89 people over the past three days, who were suspected of offenses including unlawfully assembly, possessing offensive weapons, vandalizing public places, assaulting the police and setting fires.
This brings the total number of arrest people to 1,453 since June this year.
Tse Chun-chung, chief superintendent of public relations branch of Hong Kong Police Force, told a regular press briefing on Monday that a total of nine police officers were injured in operations from Friday to Sunday.
Tse said the rioters deliberately destroyed public facilities at metro stations and even set fires at the exits, disregarding laws and regulations.
Rioters ignited violence at the headquarter of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government on Sunday at first and then escalated it to hurling petrol bombs. In the area of Admiralty alone, at least 80 petrol bombs were used, Tse said.
The police told the press that the violence has spiraled out of control and again strongly condemned all the illegal acts.
