ఆస్ట్రేలియా కార్చిచ్చు బాధితుల సహాయార్థం ఆదివారం సిడ్నీ క్రికెట్ మైదానంలో ఛారిటీ క్రికెట్ మ్యాచ్ జరగనుంది. ఇందులో సచిన్ తెందుల్కర్‌ కోచ్గా ఉన్న పాంటింగ్ ఎలెవన్‌ జట్టు గిల్క్రిస్ట్ ఎలెవన్‌తో తలపడనుంది. అయితే మాస్టర్ బ్లాస్టర్ జట్టుకు ప్రత్యర్థిగా తలపడనున్నాడు మరో భారత మాజీ ఆటగాడు యువరాజ్ సింగ్.

ఆస్ట్రేలియాలో కార్చిచ్చు బాధితుల సహాయార్ధం 'బుష్ఫైర్ క్రికెట్ బాష్' పేరిట ఓ ఛారిటీ మ్యాచ్ నిర్వహిస్తోంది ఆసీస్ బోర్డు. సిడ్నీ వేదికగా జరగాల్సిన ఈ మ్యాచ్ తొలుత శనివారం నిర్వహించాలనుకున్నారు. కానీ వాతావరణ పరిస్థితుల దృష్ట్యా మెల్బోర్న్కు మార్చి.. ఆదివారానికి ఆటను వాయిదా వేశారు. ఇందులో పాంటింగ్ జట్టుకు సచిన్ కోచ్గా వ్యవహరిస్తున్నాడు.
ఒకవైపు బ్యాటింగ్కు 10 ఓవర్లు ఇవ్వనున్నారు. ఇందులో 5 ఓవర్లు పవర్ ప్లే ఉంటుంది. బౌలర్లకు ఓవర్ లిమిట్ లేదు. బ్యాట్స్మన్ తొలి బంతికే ఔటైతే దాన్ని పరిగణలోకి తీసుకోరు. ఫీల్డింగ్లో జట్టులోని ఎవరితోనైనా మార్పులు చేసుకోవచ్చు. మ్యాచ్ తేదీ మార్పు వల్ల మైఖేల్ క్లార్క్, బ్యాట్స్మన్ మైఖేల్ హస్సీ సహా పలువురు మహిళా క్రీడాకారిణులు మ్యాచ్ నుంచి తప్పుకున్నారు.

WASHINGTON, RAE, LYNCH LIGHT UP ESSENCE PRE-OSCARS EVENT
Kerry Washington, Issa Rae and Lashana Lynch lit up Essence magazine's annual pre-Oscars event on Thursday (6 FEBRUARY).
Washington attended the Black Women in Hollywood event in Beverly Hills, California alongside her "Little Fires Everywhere" co-star Lexi Underwood.
"I love events like today because we actually get to be in a room and celebrate each other and encourage each other and remind each other that we're doing the good work. Right, to not focus as much on the problem, but to look at each other as the solution together," she said. "So I think as long as we just keep showing up for each other and doing this work and celebrating each other and encouraging each other, then we'll get there."
"Insecure" star Rae said her advice to others looking to follow her path into Hollywood is simple: "I always tell people to find your community, find the people who are around you and grow with them, you know, and find people who are passionate about the same thing that you are, in different areas where you're weak -- and take over the industry."
Lashana Lynch stars as a spy alongside Daniel Craig's James Bond in the upcoming "No Time to Die." She said having a black woman front-and-center in a Bond movie is "incredible."
