బాలీవుడ్లో వరుణ్ధావన్ హీరోగా రూపొందుతున్న 'కూలీ నెంబర్.1' చిత్రబృందంపై ప్రశంసలు కురిపించారు భారత ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ. ఈ సినిమా షూటింగ్లో సింగిల్ యూజ్ ప్లాస్టిక్ వాడకాన్ని నిషేధించాలని నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు హీరో వరుణ్ చేసిన ట్వీట్పై స్పందించారు.

"భారత్ ప్లాస్టిక్ రహిత దేశంగా మార్చాలనే ప్రధాని మోదీ పిలుపు ప్రతి ఒక్కరికి ఆచరణీయం. మనం చేసే చిన్న పనుల ద్వారా ఇది సాధించవచ్చు. 'కూలీ నెంబరు1' సెట్లో ప్లాస్టిక్ బదులు స్టీలు బాటిళ్లు వాడాలని నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నాం" -హీరో వరుణ్ ధావన్ ట్వీట్

ఈ ఏడాది స్వాతంత్ర్య దినోత్సవంలో ప్రసంగించిన మోదీ.. ఒకసారి ఉపయోగించే ప్లాస్టిక్‌ వాడకాన్ని తగ్గించాలని, ప్లాస్టిక్ నీళ్ల సీసాలకు ప్రత్యామ్నయం కనుక్కోవాలని కోరారు.

STORYLINE:
France's customs are gearing up for a "no-deal" Brexit, as Gérald Darmanin, the country's Minister of Public Action and Accounts, visited the transit zone at the port of Ouistreham.
Thrusday's visit comes as customs officers are expected to test their IT system and the number plate scanners on lorries arriving from Portsmouth.
The system is designed to streamline procedures and avoid the huge lines of lorries many local officials along France's northern coast have warned against, according to customs officers.
Darmanin has been insisting the country was ready for a hard Brexit, but expressed some concern over the preparedness of customs officers on the British side of the Channel.
"We want to know very concretely how things are going on the British side, in Portsmouth, in Dover", Darmanin told journalists.
Adding that "I know that you can't transform the administration and rebuild a border that hasn't existed in many years in just a couple of hours."
The minister met with officials and business representatives including Airbus' Head of Customs who told the minister Brexit had already cost the company "tens of millions of Euros".
France has trained 600 new customs officers and built extra parking lots arounds its English Channel ports to hold vehicles that will have to go through extra checks if there is no agreement ahead of the UK's exit from the EU.
The French government is due to hold seven test runs over the coming weeks to ensure that the additional border measures are working, noting that 4 million trucks cross the Channel to Calais every year through the Eurotunnel and on ferries.
