దక్షిణాదిలో అభిమానులు.. కథానాయకుల్ని ఆరాధించే పద్ధతి తనకు నచ్చలేదని చెప్పింది హీరోయిన్ కాజల్. అదే విధంగా బాలీవుడ్, టాలీవుడ్కు మధ్య తేడాను వివరించింది.

టాలీవుడ్లో హీరోలను ఆరాధించే పద్ధతి తనకు నచ్చలేదని చెబుతోంది హీరోయిన్ కాజల్ అగర్వాల్. పలువురు అగ్రకథానాయకుల సరసన నటించిన ఈ భామ.. ఇటీవలే ఓ ప్రముఖ టాక్ షోలో పాల్గొంది. అందులో మాట్లాడుతూ ఉత్తరాది, దక్షిణాది చిత్రసీమలకు మధ్య ఉన్న మంచి, చెడులేంటో తన అనుభవాల నుంచి చెప్పుకొచ్చింది.
"తెలుగు చిత్ర పరిశ్రమలో సమయపాలన, క్రమశిక్షణ చాలా గొప్పగా ఉంటాయి. ఉదయం 6 గంటలకు సెట్స్‌లోకి అడుగుపెడితే ఏడింటికే చిత్రీకరణ మొదలైపోతుంది. సాయంత్రం 6 గంటల కల్లా ప్యాకప్‌ చెప్పెయ్యొచ్చు. కానీ బాలీవుడ్‌లో ఇలాంటి పరిస్థితి కనిపించదు. అక్కడ మధ్యాహ్నం 12కు గానీ చిత్రీకరణ మొదలు కాదు. పూర్తయ్యే సరికి రాత్రి 12 దాటిపోతుంది. అందుకే ఇక్కడ పనిచేసి హిందీలో చేస్తుంటే ఇబ్బందిగానే అనిపిస్తుంటుంది" -కాజల్ అగర్వాల్, హీరోయిన్

"తమిళ, మలయాళ చిత్రసీమలు.. సాంకేతిక నిపుణులు-కథ విషయాల్లో చాలా ఉన్నతంగా కనిపిస్తుంటాయి. ఈ రెండు పరిశ్రమల్లో ఎంతో గొప్ప ప్రతిభ దాగి ఉంటుంది. మంచి కథాబలం ఉన్న చిత్రాలు తెరకెక్కించడంలో దేశంలోనే అందరి కన్నా ముందు వరుసలో ఉంటాయి. వారు ఇతర నటీనటులతో మాట్లాడే తీరు ఎంతో గౌరవంగా ఉంటుంది. అయితే తెలుగు, తమిళ చిత్రసీమల్లో కనిపించే హీరోలను ఆరాధించే పద్ధతి నాకు అసలు నచ్చదు. హిందీలో ఇది అసలు కనిపించదు" -కాజల్ అగర్వాల్, హీరోయిన్

"What this team has done and what Jill has done, it's I think, absolutely amazing. Jill was hired to win one World Cup, and she won two. So it just pushed the standards even higher and made the whole job to be I guess even more stressful at times. But, for me, I was very well aware of it and I knew coming into it that we're going to go to win every game. I knew coming into it that it will be extremely important to win all the big tournaments. Now, in terms of changing anything, I wouldn't necessarily say 'change' but I would say 'evolve' and the reason I'm saying that is because the game is evolving. This game has evolved from World Cup to World Cup but also it's evolving from year to year so if we don't follow the trends, then all the other national teams are going to catch up with us. And, at the same time, I don't just want to follow the trends, I want to set some of those trends. We want to be creative and we want to be leaders in those trends."

Q: What is your view on the equal pay issue between the players and the federation?
"I'm very respectful of the drive, of the push that the players have. In fact, that's positive for me because that will translate to the field and I have no doubt in my mind once they step on the field that they're going to be focused on what is important at that time. Once they put the jersey on they put everything else on the side and focus on winning games. They proved that in the past and, like I said, I have no doubt in my mind that they're going to do that in the future."

"I know that the Olympic tournament is about a year away but, most importantly for us, is before that, is to qualify for the tournament and that's going to be our first thing on the agenda and we have a very, very experienced team. We have players that have been on the international stage, that won big games, big tournaments so we're going to rely heavily on them but that doesn't mean that we're not going to expand the roster, that doesn't mean we're not going to expand the pool, deepen the pool. We're going to look at new players and, at the end, the ones that perform the best at training, at games will get a chance to be on the roster."

STORYLINE:
U.S. Soccer held a press conference on Monday (28 October) in Manhattan to introduce Vlatko Andonovski as the new head coach of the U.S. Women's National Team.
Andonovski has big shoes to fill as his predecessor, Jill Ellis, led the team to consecutive World Cup titles.
The native of Macedonia played for several teams in Europe before an indoor soccer career in the United States. He has coached in the National Women's Soccer League for the past seven seasons, winning two titles and receiving Coach of the Year honours twice.
Andonovski will immediately begin preparations for the U.S. team to qualify for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. He said there will be a camp before a pair of exhibition matches: against Sweden in Columbus, Ohio, on 7 November, and against Costa Rica in Jacksonville, Florida, on 10 November. That will be followed by another camp in December.
