మూడుసార్లు జాతీయ అవార్డు అందుకున్న నృత్య దర్శకురాలు సరోజ్ ఖాన్(71) ఇక లేరు. శ్వాసకోశ సంబంధిత సమస్యలతో గత శనివారం ముంబయిలోని గురునానక్‌ ఆస్పత్రిలో చేరిన ఆమె చికిత్స పొందుతూ.. శుక్రవారం వేకువజామున 2 గంటల సమయంలో గుండెపోటుతో కన్నుమూశారు. 1950వ దశకంలో బాలనటిగా సినీ పరిశ్రమలో అడుగుపెట్టిన సరోజ్ ఖాన్ బాలీవుడ్‌లో మంచి కొరియోగ్రాఫర్‌గా గుర్తింపు పొందారు. ఆమె 50 ఏళ్ల సినీ ప్రస్థానంలో రెండు వేలకు పైగా పాటలకు నృత్య దర్శకురాలిగా పనిచేశారు. 'మదర్‌ ఆఫ్‌ డ్యాన్స్'గా సరోజ్ ఖాన్ ప్రసిద్ధి గాంచారు. ఆమె మృతికి సంతాపంగా పలువురు బాలీవుడ్ ప్రముఖులు సామాజిక మాధ్యమాల్లో స్పందించారు.
