ఆర్టికల్ 370 రద్దు ద్వారా జమ్ముకశ్మీర్ స్వయంప్రతిపత్తి తొలగించడాన్ని పాక్ ప్రధాని ఇమ్రాన్ ఖాన్ తీవ్రంగా తప్పుపట్టారు. ఇలాంటి నిర్ణయాలు అణుసామర్థ్యమున్న దేశాల మధ్య సంబంధాలను బలహీనపరుస్తాయని అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు.

ఆర్టికల్ 370 రద్దుపై పాకిస్థాన్ విషం కక్కుతోంది. జమ్ముకశ్మీర్కు స్వయం ప్రతిపత్తిని రద్దు చేయాలన్న భారత్ నిర్ణయాన్ని పాకిస్థాన్ ప్రధానమంత్రి ఇమ్రాన్ ఖాన్ ఖండించారు. ఇలాంటి చర్యల వల్ల అణు సామర్థ్యం ఉన్న భారత్- పాక్ దేశాల మధ్య సంబంధాలు మరింత బలహీనపడతాయన్నారు.

ఆర్టికల్ 370ను రద్దు చేస్తున్నట్టు రాజ్యసభలో కేంద్ర హోంమంత్రి అమిత్ షా ప్రకటించారు. రాష్ట్రాన్ని.. జమ్ముకశ్మీర్, లద్దాఖ్ అని రెండు కేంద్రపాలిత ప్రాంతాలుగా విభజించాలని బిల్లు ప్రవేశపెట్టారు. సుదీర్ఘ చర్చల అనంతరం సంబంధిత బిల్లు, తీర్మానానికి ఆమోదం లభించింది.

అంతకుముందే భారత్ నిర్ణయాన్ని పాక్ విదేశాంగశాఖ కార్యాలయం ఖండించింది. త్వరలో పాక్లో పర్యటించే అమెరికా బృందం, అంతర్జాతీయ సంఘం వద్ద ఈ సమస్యను ప్రస్తావిస్తామని తెలిపింది.

But if all of those were completely at full capacity including the loose rounds found on the ground near him as well as in a backpack that he carried he would have had a maximum of 250 rounds in his possession at the time."

"We can confirm at least 41 spent shell casings from his weapon based on their location and his path of travel. That's at least 41 because you could well understand in a very dynamic and chaotic scene as this was, with people running through the crime scene, with first responders running through the crime scene, with emergency EMS traveling through the crime scene, evidence can be lost. So we can say at least 41 spent shell casings from the suspect."

"In terms of the persons injured. We are getting different information from other sources. Persons treated in a hospital so we have previously said 27 or there's some information there is 32. I can confirm to you that there is at least 14 of those injured, whether that number is 27 or 32, at least that were injured through gunshot wounds. So many people were injured through other means in their flight from this very chaotic event."

"It seems to just defy believability he would shoot his own sister, but it's also hard to believe that he didn't recognize that was his sister. So we just don't know."

"We have a lot of evidence still to go through. Just based on where we're at now we are not seeing any indication of race being a motive but we are not through all the evidence. And so until we're through all the evidence we cannot rule that out. But I'm saying we're not seeing at any at this time this suggests race is a motive."

STORYLINE:
Authorities in Ohio are trying to pin down a motive for the weekend's second U.S. mass shooting and dig into 24-year-old Connor Betts, the slain shooter's life.
Betts was armed with a .223-caliber rifle.
Dayton Police Chief Richard Biehl said the Betts said if all of the magazines Betts had were full _ which hasn't been confirmed _ he would have had a maximum of 250 rounds, including loose rounds.
What's not known is whether Betts targeted any of the victims, including his 22-year-old sister, Megan, the youngest of the dead.
"It seems to just defy believability he would shoot his own sister, but it's also hard to believe that he didn't recognize it was his sister, so we just don't know," Biehl said.
While the gunman was white and six of the nine killed were black, police said the quickness of the rampage made any discrimination in the shooting seem unlikely.
Any attempt to suggest a motive so early in the investigation would be irresponsible, the police chief said.
Police have said there was nothing in Betts' background that would have prevented him from buying the rifle used in the shooting. They said they also found a shotgun in his car.
At least 15 of the 27 more people known to have been treated for injuries had been released, according to city officials. Some suffered multiple gunshot wounds and others were injured as they fled, hospital officials said.
Sunday's shooting in Dayton is the 22nd mass killing of 2019 in the U.S., according to the AP/USA Today/Northeastern University mass murder database that tracks homicides where four or more people were killed — not including the offender.
The 20 mass killings in the U.S. in 2019 that preceded this weekend claimed 96 lives.
