ప్రపంచకప్ గెలిచినంత ఆనందంగా ఉంది: ఇమ్రాన్

అమెరికా పర్యటన తర్వాత పాకిస్థాన్లో అడుగిడగానే లభించిన ఆహ్వానానికి సంబరపడిపోయారు ఆ దేశ ప్రధాని ఇమ్రాన్ ఖాన్. మరో ప్రపంచకప్ గెలిచినంత ఆనందంగా ఉందని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.

పాకిస్థాన్‌ ప్రధాన మంత్రిగా బాధ్యతలు చేపట్టిన తర్వాత తొలిసారిగా ఇమ్రాన్‌ ఖాన్‌ అమెరికా పర్యటనకు వెళ్లారు. మూడు రోజుల పర్యటన ముగించుకుని ఇస్లామాబాద్ విమానాశ్రయానికి చేరుకున్న ఇమ్రాన్ఖాన్కు ఘన స్వాగతం లభించింది. అభిమానులు, పార్టీ కార్యకర్తలు పెద్ద ఎత్తున అక్కడికి చేరుకుని ఇమ్రాన్కు స్వాగతం పలికారు. తనకు లభించిన స్వాగతాన్ని చూసి ఇమ్రాన్ ఆనందం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.

"అమెరికాకు నా ప్రయాణం, పర్యటన సాఫీగా జరిగింది. మీ స్వాగతం చూస్తుంటే.. దేశానికి మరో ప్రపంచ కప్‌ గెలుచుకొచ్చిన భావన కలిగింది. ఇంతకు ముందు పాకిస్థాన్‌ను లూఠీ చేసిన వారి భరతం పడతాను. అన్ని వ్యవస్థల్లో పారదర్శకత తీసుకొస్తాను. ఇప్పటివరకు మన దేశాన్ని దొంగలు పడి దోచుకున్నారు. వాళ్లంతా ఇప్పుడు తగిన శిక్ష అనుభవిస్తారు."

అడుగడున అవమానాలే..

ఎన్నో అంచనాలతో అమెరికాకు వెళ్లిన ఇమ్రాన్కు అడుగడుగునా అవమానాలే ఎదురయ్యాయి. అగ్రరాజ్యంలో ఆయనకు స్వాగతం పలికేందుకు ఎవరూ రాలేదు. కొందరు పాకిస్థానీ అమెరికన్లు, పాక్‌ విదేశాంగ మంత్రి ఖురేషీలే ఆయనకు స్వాగతం పలికారు. అయితే అమెరికా పర్యటన తనకెంతో ఆనందాన్ని కలిగించిందని ఇమ్రాన్‌ ఖాన్‌ చెప్పుకొచ్చారు.

విపక్షాల విమర్శలు

అమెరికా పర్యటనలో భాగంగా.. పాక్ గత ప్రభుత్వాలు అవినీతికి పాల్పడ్డాయని ఇమ్రాన్ చేసిన వ్యాఖ్యలను విపక్షాలు తప్పుబట్టాయి. పరదేశంలో సొంత రాజ్యానికి సంబంధించి ఇటువంటి వ్యాఖ్యలు చేయటం బాధాకరమని విమర్శించారు.

Chinese scholars and experts has denounced the United States' attempts to suppress the development of other countries, saying that the United States has no right to deprive others of their legitimate rights to growth, especially against the backdrop of economic globalization.
Recently, more than 100 so-called American hawks towards China jointly signed an open letter, flagrantly demanding to curb China's development. Chinese economic experts pointed out that any sovereign country has the natural right to pursue modernization, and that the U.S. practice is completely a hegemonic act.
"The United States has long considered itself a world leader, which is why it never wants to see anyone challenging its economic hegemony and global status. So it has chosen to suppress those countries that are trying to catch up. The U.S. has been on its guard against China in the process of China's continuous economic development," said Li Wei, director of the Research Institute of Americas and Oceania under the Ministry of Commerce.
Li Dawei, a researcher with the Chinese Academy of Macroeconomic Research, said that China's economic growth will only bring benefits to the rest of the world, instead of posing as a threat, since China is now a main driver of global economic growth. Against the backdrop of globalization, the U.S. sanctions on other countries will only lead to mutual damage.
"The global innovation system has seen the establishment of a network of countries collaborating on the basis of their comparative advantages. Under this mode of production, if the United States breaks the cooperative division of labor, it will only lead to a significant decline in production efficiency, and all countries will be affected," he said.
Gu Xueming, director of the Institute of International Trade and Economic Cooperation under the Ministry of Commerce, said that due to the difference in development stages, different countries would choose different development models, but there isn’t a model that should be viewed as absolutely superior to others.
"[The United States] should not impose its own development model upon others, neither should it selfishly restrict the legitimate rights of other countries to development. Different development models should draw on one another's strength, and should not be exclusive or try to suppress each other. All countries should work together to promote the common development of the human society," said Gu.
