దక్షిణ కాలిఫోర్నియాలో కార్చిచ్చు రగిలింది. వీటికి తోడు బలమైన గాలుల వల్ల పామ్ స్ప్రింగ్స్ పట్టణానికి మంటలు వేగంగా వ్యాపిస్తున్నాయి. చెట్లు దగ్ధమయ్యాయి. విద్యుత్ సరఫరాకు అంతరాయం ఏర్పడినట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు.

అమెరికాలోని దక్షిణ కాలిఫోర్నియాలో మరోసారి కార్చిచ్చు రగిలింది. పెద్ద ఎత్తున మంటలు ఎగసిపడుతున్నాయి. బలమైనగాలులు తోడై పామ్ స్ప్రింగ్స్ పట్టణానికి మంటలు వేగంగా వ్యాపిస్తున్నాయి.

చాలా చెట్లు దగ్ధమయ్యాయి. విద్యుత్ సరఫరాకు తీవ్ర అంతరాయం ఏర్పడినట్లు స్థానిక అధికారులు తెలిపారు. పట్టణమంతా దాదాపుగా అంధకారంలో ఉండిపోయింది.

బలమైన గాలులు కొనసాగే అవకాశం ఉన్నట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు.

Residents in the Venezuelan capital city of Caracas have taken measures to ensure basic water supply with the help of the local government following a week-long massive blackout.
Venezuela has suffered water shortages and a large-scale blackout that affected local transportation systems and communication networks since March 25.
At present, the power supply to airports, subways and other public areas has basically returned to normal, however, the water supply in some urban areas is still unstable. Some local residents, with the help of the local governments, are voluntarily storing water and helping nearby kindergartens, clinics and other public places to store water.
A kindergarten in a remote part of Caracas has taken a series measures to ensure the basic water use for the students by storing water tanks to deal with the unstable water supply. In the absence of water, the two water tanks can guarantee the normal use of water for more than 100 students for two days.
"Water is very important to us, because here is where the children are and we need as much help as we can get. This is the result of the joint efforts of our kindergarten and our community. And the community's help in providing water is crucial to us," said Villacinda, director of the kindergarten.
During periods of unstable water supply, the local governments sent the water tenders to nearby schools, clinics and other public places. In addition, the community residents can get water in the designated areas.
"We want to help all as much as we could, as long as there is a need for water, and as long as we have water, they all can come here and get water," said a community employee responsible for water supply.
