ఆకుపచ్చ తెలంగాణ లక్ష్యంతో హరితహారం కార్యక్రమాన్ని చేపట్టింది రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం. అదే విధంగా పట్టణ ప్రాంతాలకు సమీపంలో ఉన్న అటవీ బ్లాకులను అర్బన్ ఫారెస్ట్ పార్కులుగా అభివృద్ధి చేస్తోంది.
ఇప్పటికే 95 అర్బన్ ఫారెస్ట్ పార్కుల అభివృద్ధి పనులు ప్రారంభమయ్యాయి. 35 పార్కుల పనులు పూర్తయ్యాయి. ఆరోవిడత హరితహారం ప్రారంభం సందర్భంగా నర్సాపూర్ అర్బన్ ఫారెస్ట్ పార్కును ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేసీఆర్ ప్రారంభించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా రాష్ట్రంలోని వివిధ ప్రాంతాల్లో అభివృద్ధి చేసిన అర్బన్ ఫారెస్ట్ పార్కుల చిత్రాలను మంత్రి కేటీఆర్ ట్విట్టర్ ద్వారా షేర్ చేశారు.
