2019-20 ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరానికి పూర్తి స్థాయి బడ్జెట్ ప్రవేశపెట్టేందుకు కేంద్ర ఆర్థిక శాఖ కసరత్తు ముమ్మరం చేసింది. ఈ నెల 11 నుంచి 23 వరకు ఆర్థికవేత్తలు, పరిశ్రమ వర్గాలతో విత్తమంత్రి నిర్మలా సీతారామన్ భేటీ కానున్నారు.

ఎన్డీఏ ప్రభుత్వం రెండోసారి అధికారం చేపట్టాక దేశ చరిత్రలోనే తొలిసారి పూర్తిస్థాయి మహిళా ఆర్థిక మంత్రిగా బాధ్యతలు స్వీకరించారు నిర్మలా సీతారామన్. పార్లమెంట్ సమావేశాల్లో భాగంగా వచ్చే నెల 5 న 2019-20 ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరానికి బడ్జెట్ ప్రవేశపెట్టనున్నారు. ఇందుకోసం బడ్జెట్ ముందస్తు సంప్రదింపులను ముమ్మరం చేసింది ఆర్థిక శాఖ.

ఈ నెల 11 నుంచి 23 వరకు ఆర్థికవేత్తలు, పారిశ్రామిక రంగం ప్రతినిధులు, బ్యాంకు వర్గాలతో భేటీ కానున్నారు విత్తమంత్రి సీతారామన్. బడ్జెట్ ముందస్తు సంప్రదింపులను ప్రధానమంత్రి ఆర్థిక సలహా మండలి సభ్యుల సమావేశంతో ప్రారంభించనున్నారు సీతారామన్. ప్రస్తుత పరిస్థితుల్లో ఏ విధంగా ముందుకు వెళ్లాలనే అంశంపై వారి సలహాలు తీసుకోనున్నారు.

ఆర్థిక వృద్ధి మందగమనం, నిరర్థక ఆస్తులు, బ్యాంకింగేతర ఆర్థిక రంగాల్లో నిధుల కొరత, ఉద్యోగ కల్పన, ప్రైవేట్ పెట్టుబడులు, ఎగుమతుల పునరుద్ధరణ, వ్యవసాయ సంక్షోభం, ప్రభుత్వ పెట్టుబడుల వంటి విషయాలు బడ్జెట్ రూపకల్పనలో కీలకంగా మారాయి.

జూన్ 20న జీఎస్టీ మండలి సమావేశం జరగనుంది. ఈ సమావేశంలోనే బడ్జెట్పై రాష్ట్రాల ఆర్థిక మంత్రుల సలహాలు, సూచనలు స్వీకరించే అవకాశం ఉంది.

ఇప్పటికే పరిశ్రమ వర్గాలతో రెవెన్యూ కార్యదర్శి అజయ్ భూషన్ పాండే ఒక దశ సంప్రదింపులు పూర్తి చేశారు. కార్పోరేట్ పన్ను, కనీస ప్రత్యామ్నాయ పన్ను(ఎమ్ఏటీ) తగ్గించాలని వారు కోరారు. విద్యుత్ వాహనాల రంగంలో ప్రోత్సాహకాలు, అనుమతులను సులభతరం చేయాలని సూచించారు.

"I remember having my head down because we were at the gate like this. And I hear like, 'pop' 'pop'. I don't remember like how many like, to be honest, but I looked up and seconds later the whole gate, I think it was on this side, just fell, like everything fell. And everyone said, 'run'. And there was a little girl on the ground so I picked her up and like I ran with her for a little bit. Her mum was very nice to me, so I gave her to her mum. And then, this man started pushing me in towards a restaurant . So I went in there and I fell. And then, I got pushed into a bathroom. The door wouldn't lock but I had my pepper spray and everybody was really helpful, trying to be supportive because it was very scary. We stayed in for about five minutes after even though we were given the clear, we didn't leave. And it happened the second time actually, we were in the restaurant next door. And then we saw everyone just running - it looked like a movie scene. It was really scary."

"Tonight at about 7:20 night p.m. (2320 GMT), our officers responded to a report of a man with a gun in the park. As the officers were going to the scene, there was a crowd of people running away from it. Some of the individuals in the crowd said there was a man with a gun and someone had fired shots. Officers arrived in the location the individual was located. At that point, they stopped the individual and they recovered the gun close by. There was no evidence at all that any shots were fired. Of course, this is under investigation. And at this point, one male suspect has been arrested for possession of what appears to be a hand gun. Some of the people that ran from the park sustained minor injuries. There were seven transported by the DP Fire and EMS (Emergency Medical Services) for non life threating injuries to local hospitals There were also various for minor injuries and treated and released on scene."

STORYLINE:
A panic caused by a mistaken belief that a gun had been fired during a pride parade in Washington, DC, sent people running through the streets of the nation's capital on Saturday evening, city officials said.
Police said some of the people who ran sustained minor injuries and seven were taken to hospitals.
"As the officers were going to the scene, there was a crowd of people running away from it. Some of the individuals in the crowd said there was a man with a gun and someone had fired shots," said Guillermo Rivera, a commander with the Metropolitan Police Department.
The man was taken into custody and is facing a gun possession charge, Rivera said.
City officials said no shots were fired.
Mayor Muriel Bowser tweeted that she had been briefed by police and there were "no shots fired." She said fire department personnel were "on the scene to treat minor injuries / due to reports of a shooting."
Elizabeth Hernandez, 19, was among the thousands celebrating LGBTQ pride in the city when she said she heard "pop, pop" and suddenly barricades were being tossed over and a crowd of people starting running frantically from the area.
"Everything fell and everyone said 'run!,'" said Hernandez, of Falls Church, Virginia.
She ran down the block and was pushed into a restaurant, where she went into a bathroom with a group of fellow revelers.
Ashley Smith, the president of Capital Pride Alliance, which puts on the event, said he saw people running toward him from Dupont Circle.
"We cannot allow this incident, until we know all the facts of it, we cannot allow this incident to ruin the pride celebration going on this weekend," Smith said.
