పీఎంసీ కుంభకోణం: 'మా ఆస్తులమ్మి బకాయిలు తీర్చండి'

పంజాబ్, మహారాష్ట్ర సహకార బ్యాంకు బకాయిలు చెల్లించేందుకు తమ ఆస్తులు అమ్మాలని కోరారు పీఎంసీ కుంభకోణంలో ప్రధాన నిందితులైన హెచ్ఐల్ ప్రమోటర్లు రాకేశ్, సారంగ్ వాద్వాన్. ఈ మేరకు ఆర్బీఐ, దర్యాప్తు సంస్థలకు లేఖ రాశారు. రోల్స్ రాయిస్ కార్లు, విమానం ఇతర ఆస్తులను అమ్మటానికి అనుమతినిచ్చారు ప్రమోటర్లు.

పీఎంసీ బ్యాంక్ కుంభకోణంలో ఎన్ఫోర్స్మెంట్ డైరెక్టరేట్ భారీగా ఆస్తులు సీజ్ చేసిన నేపథ్యంలో ప్రధాన నిందితులైన హెచ్డీఐఎల్ ప్రమోటర్లు రాకేశ్ వాద్వాన్, సారంగ్ వాద్వాన్‌.. తమ ఆస్తులను అమ్మాలని అభ్యర్థించారు. ఈ మేరకు ఆర్బీఐ, కేంద్ర ఆర్థిక మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ, ఈడీలకు లేఖ రాశారు. రోల్స్ రాయిస్ కార్లు, విమానం, ఓడ ఇతర ఆస్తులను అమ్మి బ్యాంకు బకాయిలు చెల్లించాల్సిందిగా కోరారు.

పంజాబ్, మహారాష్ట్ర కో-ఆపరేటివ్ బ్యాంక్ కుంభకోణంలో ముంబయి ఆర్థిక కార్యకలాపాల పోలీస్ వింగ్ వాద్వాన్లను అరెస్టు చేసింది. బుధవారం రోజు నిందితులను కోర్టు.. జ్యుడీషియల్ కస్టడీకి అప్పగించిన నేపథ్యంలో ఈడీ జత చేసిన తమ 18 రకాల ఆస్తులను అమ్మటానికి అనుమతినిచ్చారు.

అమ్మకపు ఆస్తుల వివరాలు...

ఆస్తులు అమ్మకానికి అనుమతించిన జాబితాలో రాకేశ్కు చెందిన అల్ట్రా లగ్జరీ రోల్స్ రాయిస్ ఫాంటమ్, బెంట్లీ కాంటినెంటల్, బీఎండబ్ల్యూ 730 ఎల్‌డీ, అంబాసిడర్ వంటి కార్లు ఉన్నాయి. వీటితో పాటు సారంగ్కు చెందిన ఫాల్కన్ 2000 విమానం, ఆడీ ఏజీ కారు, మరో రెండు విద్యుత్ కార్లు, మూడు క్వాడ్ బైకులు, స్పీడ్ బోట్లను విక్రయించడానికి అంగీకరించారు.

'ప్రజా ప్రయోజనాల దృష్ట్యా ప్రస్తుత పరిస్థితుల్లో పైన పేర్కొన్న ఆస్తులను అమ్మవలసిందిగా అభ్యర్థిస్తున్నాం' అని లేఖలో రాశారు.

Reaction after Manchester City are held to a 1-1 draw at home by Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their UEFA Women's Champions League round of 16 tie on Wednesday.
City took the lead through Janine Beckie in the 13th minute, before Charlyn Corral netted a crucial away goal for the Spanish side with less than 10 minutes of the match remaining.
The two teams meet again in Madrid on the 30th October for the second leg.
