'పన్ను వ్యవస్థ సరళీకరణకు చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నాం' - నిర్మలా సీతారామన్

పన్ను చెల్లింపుల వ్యవస్థ సరళీకరించడానికి ప్రభుత్వం అన్ని చర్యలు చేపడుతున్నట్లు కేంద్ర ఆర్థిక మంత్రి నిర్మలా సీతారామన్ తెలిపారు. ప్రజల నుంచి వచ్చే సూచనలను స్వీకరించి జీఎస్టీని మరింత సమర్థవంతంగా తయారు చేయడానికి ప్రభుత్వం కసరత్తులు చేస్తోందని స్పష్టం చేశారు. వస్త్ర, తోలు పరిశ్రమ, యోగా టూరిజాన్ని అభివృద్ధి చేయడానికి దేశంలోని నాలుగు ప్రధాన నగరాల్లో షాపింగ్ ఫెస్టివల్స్ నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.

పన్ను చెల్లింపు వ్యవస్థను సరళీకరించడానికి ప్రభుత్వం అన్ని చర్యలు చేపడుతున్నట్లు కేంద్ర ఆర్థిక మంత్రి నిర్మలా సీతారామన్ తెలిపారు. అఖిల భారత వర్తక కూటమి సమావేశంలో పాల్గొన్న సీతారామన్... నిజాయతీగా పన్ను చెల్లించే వ్యక్తులకు ఎలాంటి వేధింపులు ఉండకుండా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు. వస్తు, సేవల పన్ను(జీఎస్టీ) మరింత సమర్థవంతంగా ఉండేలా ప్రజల నుంచి వచ్చే సూచనలను స్వీకరించడానికి ప్రభుత్వం సిద్ధంగా ఉందని తెలిపారు. అన్ని వర్గాల నుంచి వచ్చిన సూచనల ఆధారంగా పన్ను వ్యవస్థను సరళీకరించడానికి ప్రభుత్వం ప్రయత్నిస్తుందని స్పష్టం చేశారు.

పన్ను పరిపాలనా వ్యవస్థలో పారదర్శకత, జవాబుదారీతనం తీసుకురావడానికి ఆదాయపు పన్ను శాఖ ప్రత్యేక కంప్యూటర్ జనరేటెడ్ డాక్యుమెంట్ ఐడెంటిఫికేషన్ నెంబర్(డీఐఎన్)ను అమలు చేస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. ఈ డీఐఎన్ వ్యవస్థ 2019 అక్టోబర్ 1 నుంచి అమలులోకి వచ్చినట్లు వెల్లడించారు. దీని ద్వారా ఆదాయపు పన్ను శాఖ ద్వారా అందించే అన్ని సమాచారాలను చెల్లింపుదారులకు చేరవేయనున్నట్లు స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఫలితంగా ఏవైనా తప్పుడు నోటీసులు వచ్చినప్పుడు ఈ-ఫైలింగ్ పోర్టల్లో తనిఖీ చేసి చెల్లింపుదారులు త్వరగా పసిగట్టుకోవచ్చన్నారు.

షాపింగ్ ఫెస్టివల్స్

దుబాయి తరహాలో దేశవ్యాప్తంగా త్వరలో మెగా షాపింగ్ ఫెస్టివల్ నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు సీతారామన్ వెల్లడించారు. వర్తకులు తమ ఉత్పత్తులను విక్రయించడానికి ఇదో వేదిక వంటిదన్నారు. దీని నిర్వహణ కోసం వాణిజ్య మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ కసరత్తులు చేస్తోందని తెలిపారు. వస్త్ర, తోలు పరిశ్రమ, యోగా టూరిజాన్ని అభివృద్ధి చేయడానికి దేశంలోని నాలుగు ప్రధాన నగరాల్లో ఈ ఫెస్టివల్స్ నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.

"This smoke (present over parts of Chile on Monday) is that that has moved from the ocean, from Australia and advanced in a straight line, around 13,000 kilometers, but we must take into account that it is transported in (climactic) waves to Chile, so we're actually talking about a trajectory of more than 13,000 kilometers. So this has taken many days to arrive. It is very likely that the density we are experiencing today in Santiago is due to the peaks of the large wildfires in Australia. The phenomenon will continue to be evident in the next 72 hours because this transport does not change, due to the wind from the ocean, but it will be with less intensity. So as the (local) temperature is reaching its maximum, we can observe the maximum temperature and also the minimum temperatures have not had any influence. This condition shows that our atmosphere is connected, what happens in one place of the world can be transported practically to our country. Let's remember that the same thing happened with the volcanic ash some years ago, which also went around the world and reached our territory."

Smoke from wildfires in Australia has reached as far as Chile, more than 13,000 kilometers (80,778 miles) away, a Chilean scientist said.
Arnaldo Zúñiga, a scientist from Chile's Meteorological Directorate, said on Monday that smoke present over parts of Chile, including the country's capital Santiago, had moved over the ocean in a straight line from Australia, caused by recent climactic waves.
Australia has been experiencing severe wildfires for several weeks, causing widespread devastation.
Zúñiga said he believes the smoke will be present over parts of Chile for the next 72 hours, but that it would ease off eventually.
He said the phenomenon reminded him of recent volcanic events that led to the grounding of planes in some parts of the world, adding: "Let's remember that the same thing happened with the volcanic ash some years ago, which also went around the world and reached our territory."
