STORYLINE:
Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi held a meeting with her counterpart, Thai Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai in Jakarta on Wednesday.
In a meeting held at the office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both ministers discussed bilateral and regional issues including the crisis at Rakhine State, Myanmar.
Thailand is the Chair of ASEAN this year. The issue of Rakhine State, known as the Rohingya crisis, is one of ASEAN's most important issues.
This meeting became the third by two ministers in the past few months.
Another discussion from the two foreign ministers was a follow-up to the results of the ASEAN meeting in Chiang Mai some time ago. Several issues in the Indo-Pacific region have also been discussed.
