జమ్ముకశ్మీరుకు విడిగా ఎన్నికలు..!

నాలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో శాసనసభకు, లోక్​ సభకు ఏకకాల ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు తెలిపింది ఎన్నికల సంఘం. జమ్ముకశ్మీర్​కు మాత్రం విడిగా నిర్వహిస్తామని ప్రకటించింది.

సార్వత్రిక ఎన్నికలకు సమయం ఆసన్నమైంది. కేంద్ర ఎన్నికల సంఘం ప్రకటనతో దేశంలో ఎన్నికల కోలాహలం ప్రారంభమైంది. ఎన్నికల షెడ్యూల్​ ప్రకటించారు ప్రధాన ఎన్నికల అధికారి సునీల్​ అరోరా.

మొత్తం 7 విడతల్లో లోక్​సభ ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు ప్రకటించింది ఈసీ.

నాలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో శాసనసభ ఎన్నికలు:

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్​, సిక్కిం,అరుణాచల్​ ప్రదేశ్​, ఒడిశా రాష్ట్రాల్లో శాసనసభ, లోక్​సభ ఎన్నికలు ఏకకాలంలో నిర్వహించనున్నారు. ఏప్రిల్​-మే మధ్య కాలంలో ఈ నాలుగు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాల కాల పరిమితి ముగియనుంది.

శాసనసభ : 175, లోక్​సభ-25

సిక్కిం: స్థానాలు:

శాసనసభ : 32, లోక్​సభ-1

ఒడిశా: స్థానాలు:

శాసనసభ : 147, లోక్​సభ-21

అరుణాచల్​ ప్రదేశ్​: స్థానాలు

శాసనసభ : 60, లోక్​సభ-2

జమ్ముకి ఎందుకు లేవు..?

కశ్మీర్​ లోయలో ఉద్రిక్త పరిస్థితులు నెలకొన్న నేపథ్యంలో శాసనసభకు, లోక్​సభకు ఒకేసారి ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహించటం సాధ్యం కాదని ఎన్నికల సంఘం తెలిపింది. భద్రతా బలగాలు పరిమితంగా అందుబాటులో ఉండటం వల్లే ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు సీఈసీ అరోరా తెలిపారు. ముందుగా లోక్​సభ ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహిస్తామని ఆయన స్పష్టం చేశారు. అనంత్​ నాగ్​ లోక్​సభ స్థానానికి మూడు దశల్లో ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహిస్తామని ఆయన వెల్లడించారు.

"I go to Shuanglong Town, a town that I am in charge of, almost every month to do research on targeted poverty alleviation. I have been to all the 27 villages in Shuanglong Town, and I may pay three visits to some of the villages a month. Shibadong is one of the 27 villages that I'm in charge of."

New features are highlighting China's national political advisors as they fulfill their duties in the new era, said Liu Jiayi, deputy director of the Cultural, History and Study Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
Liu made the remarks at a press conference in Beijing on Sunday for the country's annual "two sessions," the second session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) and the second session of the 13th CPPCC National Committee.
"There have appeared many new features as the members of the CPPCC National Committee fulfill their duties since the 13th CPPCC National Committee was formed. These features can be summed up in three sentences: interaction of the practice of carrying forward democracy and promoting unity; dual efforts to give political advice while building up consensus; and smooth combination of inheritance from the past and improvement with innovation," said Liu.
At the press conference, Lai Ming, a member of the Standing Committee of CPPCC National Committee, talked about his understanding of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the new era, especially in terms of exploring a new path of high-quality development that emphasizes both ecological conservation and economic growth.
"In general, we want both ecological protection and economic development. But in case the economic development runs into clash with ecological protection, we must resolutely uphold the red line of ecological protection. In the long run and from an overall and comprehensive prospective, if we do a good job in ecological and environmental protection, it will boost the economic and social development," said Lai.
Shi Hong, another member of CPPCC National Committee, presented her experience of targeted poverty alleviation in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of central China's Hunan Province.
The nationwide campaign of targeted poverty alleviation and eradication was first brought up at the closure of the Central Economic Work Meeting on December 11, 2014, when the central leadership floated the idea using targeted approach to lift people out of poverty. Such efforts require attention to detail. Greater emphasis is to be laid upon identifying low-income groups in need of assistance, so that they will receive due attention and their basic standard of living will be guaranteed.
After taking these measures, one of the villages in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Shibadong Village, was turned into a tourist attraction. Shi said she visits the poverty-stricken villages every month to help with similar transformation.

As of 2018, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture lifted 554,000 people out of poverty, bringing the poverty rate down from 31.9 percent to less than 5 percent.
