హవాలా కేసులో వాద్రాకు ముందస్తు బెయిల్

కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి ప్రియాంకా గాంధీ భర్త, ప్రముఖ వ్యాపారవేత్త రాబర్ట్ వాద్రాకు సీబీఐ ప్రత్యేక న్యాయస్థానం ముందస్తు బెయిల్ మంజూరు చేసింది. హవాలా మార్గంలో రాబర్ట్ లండన్లో 1.9 మిలియన్ పౌండ్ల ఆస్తులు ఆర్జించారని ఆరోపణలు ఉన్నాయి.

అక్రమ నగదు చలామణి కేసులో వ్యాపారవేత్త రాబర్ట్ వాద్రాకు స్వల్ప ఊరట లభించింది. సీబీఐ ప్రత్యేక న్యాయస్థానం ఆయనకు రూ.5 లక్షల వ్యక్తిగత పూచీకత్తుతో ముందస్తు బెయిల్ మంజూరు చేసింది.

ప్రత్యేక న్యాయమూర్తి అరవింద్ కుమార్... రాబర్ట్వాద్రాతో పాటు మరో నిందితుడు మనోజ్ అరోరాకూ బెయిల్ మంజూరు చేశారు. కోర్టు అనుమతి లేకుండా దేశం విడిచి వెళ్లకూడదని షరతు విధించారు. సాక్ష్యాలను తారుమారు చేయడానికి గానీ, సాక్షులను ప్రభావితం చేయడానికి ప్రయత్నించొద్దని హెచ్చరించింది కోర్టు.

"Two hundred and thirty five years ago, a U.S. ship named 'the Empress of China' opened the history of trade between China and the U.S. Today, the exhibition showing Chinese empresses is continuing to write the new chapter of exchanges between China and the U.S. Exchanges make civilization more colorful and mutual learning enriches civilizations. We hope the road of China-U.S. cultural exchanges will be wider through this exhibition."

An exhibition illustrating the heritage of Chinese empresses of the Qing Dynasty opened on Saturday in Washington to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and the United States.
As part of the 40th anniversary celebrations, the exhibition will run till June 23. It is organized by three institutions from both nations, namely, the Palace Museum in China, the Smithsonian's Freer Sackler institution, and the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts.
This is the largest show in 10 years for the U.S. museum of Asian art, which reveals untold stories of five Qing Dynasty empresses from 1644-1912, through 165 artifacts. The majority of the objects on display include treasures rarely seen in the United States, which came from the Palace Museum in Beijing, also known as the Forbidden City.

According to the organizers, the exhibition chose the five empresses as the theme because these women played an important role at a crucial stage in the Qing Dynasty. To help U.S. visitors better understand the show, scholars of both countries carried out research and provided information to accompany relevant showpieces.
