కర్ణాటకలో భాజపా ప్రభుత్వ ఏర్పాటుకు అవకాశమిచ్చిన గవర్నర్, కోరిన యడ్యూరప్పపై కాంగ్రెస్, జేడీఎస్ విమర్శలు గుప్పించాయి. రాజ్యాంగ విరుద్ధంగా యడ్యూరప్పను ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని ఆహ్వానించడం ద్వారా పార్లమెంటరీ ప్రజాస్వామ్యాన్ని గవర్నర్ ఖూనీ చేశారని ఆరోపించారు ఇరు పార్టీల నేతలు.
అవినీతికి ప్రతిరూపం, మాజీ జైలు పక్షి అంటూ యడ్యూరప్పను ఎద్దేవా చేసింది కర్ణాటక కాంగ్రెస్. యడ్యూరప్ప జైలుకెళ్లగా ముగిసిన 2008-11 మధ్య కాలంలోని ఘోరమైన పాలనను కన్నడ ప్రజలు ఇప్పట్లో మరిచిపోలేరని వ్యాఖ్యానించింది.
