జపాన్ కోడలి కోసం అత్త ఇంగ్లీషు ట్యూషన్ మన భావాన్ని వ్యక్తీకరించడానికి భాష ప్రధానం. అయితే.. ఛత్తీస్గఢ్ జశ్పుర్కు చెందిన 45 ఏళ్ల చంద్రసేనకు ఇదే సమస్యగా మారింది. ఆమెకు ఒక కుమారుడు. సింగపూర్లో ఉద్యోగం చేస్తున్న సమయంలోనే జపాన్కు చెందిన మియాకాను ప్రేమ వివాహం చేసుకున్నాడు. వారికి ఓ కుమార్తె అమీకా. అయితే సమస్యొచ్చింది ఇక్కడే.
వారితో మాట్లాడాలంటే చంద్రసేనకు కష్టంగా అనిపించేది. ఎందుకంటే వారికేమో ఆంగ్లం, జపనీస్ తప్ప మరేమీ రాదు. చంద్రసేనకు హిందీనే వచ్చు. అయితే.. ఓ ఆలోచన ఆ సమస్యను పరిష్కరించగలిగింది. ఆంగ్ల భాషపై శిక్షణ తీసుకోవాలని ఆమె భావించారు. అనుకోవడమే ఆలస్యం భర్త సహకారంతో శిక్షణ తరగతిలో చేరారు. ఇప్పుడిప్పుడే ఇంగ్లీష్ అర్థం చేసుకోగలుగుతున్నారు. ఆమె ప్రయత్నాన్ని తెలుసుకున్న జిల్లా మేజిస్ట్రేటు.. కోచింగ్ సెంటర్ను సందర్శించి చంద్రసేనను ప్రోత్సహించారు.
'ప్రస్తుతం బాగానే ఉంది. నేను ఇప్పుడిప్పుడే కొంచెం మాట్లాడగలుగుతున్నా. నేను నా కోడలితో ఇంగ్లీష్లో మాట్లాడలేక పోయేదాన్ని. అప్పుడే నేనొక ఆశయం ఏర్పరచుకున్నా.. నా కోడలితో ఇంగ్లీష్ మాట్లాడాలని. నా కోడలు, మనుమరాలు జపాన్లో ఉంటారు. ఇప్పుడు బాగానే మాట్లాడుతున్నా. వారు చెప్పేది అర్థమవుతుంది. నేను బదులివ్వగలుగుతున్నా. నా కోడలు, మనుమరాలితో బంధం బలపడటానికి కారణం ఆంగ్లం నేర్చుకోవడమే.'

Just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you have to stop dressing like you. You should still be who you are. As for postpartum, maxi dresses are always popular, everybody loves maxi dresses. I have several maxi dresses that have done millions of baby showers because they are everybody's favorite. They're comfortable, they're cool, they're easy to nurse in."

I get everyone in here from lawyers, to actresses, stylists who are dressing either someone to look pregnant on TV or someone to not look pregnant on TV and then of course, I get a lot of people, a lot of mothers who already have older children so they need something that they can get on the ground and play in and chase a little one so we've got a broad selection of anything that you could ask for."

Fashionistas around the world will be keenly watching the Duchess of Sussex, following her first public appearance since the birth of her son, Archie.
For many new mums in Meghan's home of L.A., being fashionable as well as comfortable is vital in those early months of breast feeding.
STORYLINE:
For celebrity mothers in Hollywood postpartum and nursing fashion trends now focus on a desire for style and self-expression.
And it seems the maxi dress is pressing all the right buttons.
Light, free flowing with craftily created hidden slits to enable easy breast feeding, these clothes are understandably popular.
Laurie Brucker, Certified Image Consultant and personal stylist, says Hollywood mothers want to look stylish immediately after giving birth.
"One of the biggest trends is the desire for style. Right after having a baby you don't want to feel frumpy and you know you start feeling a little frumpy with the change of your body so we are looking for items that are fashion forward and also functional, which is another big trend, having functionality so that you can do nursing in public where there are zippers or hidden pockets and also tummy compression in the pants so that you can support your belly as you're recovering" says Brucker.
Brucker, who gave birth herself five weeks ago, says new mothers desire good looks when their bodies are in transition right after the birth of the child.
A Pea In The Pod is a store trading in the luxury end of the market with 22 outlets, which are a hot spot for celebrity mothers.
The company is known for their collaborations with top contemporary designers to provide the latest high-end-style.
Hollywood mothers want to continue wearing their favourite designer names, so the chain decided to collaborate with the designers to give the mothers exactly what they wanted.
The result: soft unstructured maxi dresses and jumpers with discrete access points for breastfeeding.
Crystal Brower, store manager of A Pea in The Pod, agrees new mums want fashion with functionality.
"A lot of our mama's are really looking for dresses right now. We're getting into summer so anything easy breezy. They want something very comfortable. They're looking for jumpers also. L.A. is not a city of 9-to-5 jobs, so another big trend in Hollywood is designer denim, as many mums want to be comfortable when working out of the office.
A Pea In The Pod collaborated with top jeans makers such as Citizens of Humanity, 7 for All Mankind, J Brand, Joe's and Paige to create postpartum-friendly jeans and jean wear.
Nursing designer jeans were altered to have side panels that stretch and retract with the body.
These jeans look exactly like any others, some even come with the distressed look.
Another big trend is the knit shirt made of modal cotton paired with nursing camisoles that have easy access straps for public breastfeeding.
The camisole is worn underneath a soft designer-named button-down shirt which is worn open.
"Our L.A. moms are looking for pieces that they can wear from brands that they are familiar with, things that they shopped even when they weren't expecting that they continue to wear doing pregnancy and after, things that they can have access to as far as nursing capabilities and things like that. They're looking for great fabrics. They're looking for luxury but also comfort and absolutely style is number one" says Brower.
The company is also known as a leader for nursing intimates and lingerie. Again it collaborated with big lingerie design companies.
Its bras are multifunctional, straps allow for the movement of the cup as the mother gains or loses weight.
Then there is a corset to help guide the body back into shape faster.
Celebrity fashion stylist Rebecca Todd is convinced getting back into shape will be important to Meghan Markle and all eyes will be on this California girl to see what choices she makes.
"Well, Meghan Markle is now Hollywood royalty living in the Royal Family. Everybody wants to wear what she's wearing. Everything she wears sells out in minutes. At Mom's the Word, its three stores throughout California specialize in cutting edge styling, ultra-soft fabrics and the elegant red carpet looks.
Dresses have stretchy fabric to fit the new mum at any weight post-pregnancy.
Austin Ross, manager of Mom's the Word in Los Angeles agrees maxi dresses are very popular this season.
"Well, we have a lot of things that kind of that very classy, very elegant look. Here we have a selection that is everything from casual daywear, loungewear, to dressy to business. Ross also says that while the maxi dress is popular in several elegant colours, black is the number one choice for Hollywood mothers.
Fashion conscious mums and royal watchers will be hoping to catch a glimpse of the Sussex family.
And, of course, all eyes will be on what the new royal mother will be wearing - as well as baby Archie.
