STORYLINE:
The Iranian President on Sunday urged Muslims to unite to maintain regional security, while accusing those who he said relied on the United States and Israel of having chosen "the wrong path", according the Iranian State TV.
Hassan Rouhani is believed to be referring to Saudi Arabia and its allies during his speech in southern Iran.
The head of powerful Revolutionary Guard on Saturday explicitly accused Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates of secretly supporting extermist groups that carried out a bombing on a bus on Wednesday in southeastern Iran, killing 27 soldiers of the Guard.
Rouhani added that Iran is not coveting any of the region's countries and is not seeking to overpower any nation.
Later on Sunday in southern province of Hormozgan, Rouhani unveiled the first Iranian made semi-heavy submarine capable of being mounted by subsurface-to-surface missiles with a range of about 2,000 kilometers.
Iran has always insisted that its military capabilities only serve defensive purposes and are not for invading any nation.
