STORYLINE:
Hundreds paid tributes to victims in Christchurch on Saturday after 49 people were killed in mosque shootings.
An official area was set up in the city's botanic gardens near the Christchurch hospital, where the injured were being treated, according to local media.
People left flowers and messages to express solidarity with the people affected by the attacks.
48 people remained in hospital for treatments, including two boys aged 2 and 13.
