విశాఖలో 67వ అఖిల భారత పోలీసు ఆక్వాటిక్, క్రాస్ కంట్రీ పోటీలు ఘనంగా ప్రారంభమయ్యాయి. సాగరతీరంలో ఆక్వా స్పోర్ట్స్ కాంప్లెక్స్ వేదికగా జరుగుతున్న పోటీలను జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ భాస్కర్, ఏపీఎస్పీ ఐజీపీగోపాలరావు, నగర పోలీసు కమిషనర్ మహేష్ చంద్ర లడ్డా ప్రారంభించారు.వివిధ రాష్ట్రాల పోలీసు దళాల నుంచి 25 జట్లకు చెందిన 500 క్రీడాకారులు పోటీ పడుతున్నారు.విశాఖలో తొలిసారిగా జరుగుతున్న ఈ పోటీలను విజయవంతం చేసేందుకు రాష్ట్ర పోలీసు యంత్రాంగం అన్ని ఏర్పాట్లు చేసింది. నగర పోలీస్ కమిషనర్ పర్యవేక్షణలో క్రీడలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. విజేతలకు అతిథులు పతకాలుబహుకరించారు.

"The Audi E-Tron GT Concept demonstrates perfectly how emotional, how sporty and how sexy e-mobility will become at Audi. You know, we presented this car at the end of last year at the LA motor show and today for the first time in Europe. The basis for us designers is always the package. This package is simply awesome, because there's a battery pack located in the floor, it's a real four-seater, there's even enough head clearance for a tall person like me and you have to imagine that the result is that the height of this car is 50 mm lower than our sporty A7 and this is just awesome. The design language represents the next revolution of our styling and I'd like to point out one detail, which is very important for all our future E-Tron family members. This single frame is not a radiator anymore because there is no engine, that's why we came up with the idea to invert the single frame by colour and this body painted sensor rack is integrated in the dark surrounding and this will be the future element of each E-Tron member of our future portfolio."

And we came up with the idea - what about combining the comfort and usability of an SUV and to combine this with the aesthetic of a coupe. We took the lower part of the Audi E-Tron and added the A7 roofline on top of it. The result is a very dynamic, sporty and attractive battery electric SUV."

Thanks to these engineers who developed this package there's a huge battery pack located in the floor that's why the wheelbase is really extended. This creates really short overhangs and design wise, this is as well the next evolution of our design language. We combine really emotional, almost sexy surfaces with a few precise lines, but I'd like to mention, I'd like to show you my favourite detail as well - the inverted single frame like the E-Tron GT, but my favourite detail are these headlights. We will call them digital signature lights and the future customer of this car can choose between many different proposals his own or his favourite design graphic for the first time in production at Audi in two years' time."

Kicking off press day at the Geneva International Motor Show, the German automaker presented six cars - all either fully electric or hybrids - including the E-Tron GT Concept, shown in Europe for the first time.
Audi is promising twelve electric models - five of which will be all-electric - by the end of next year.
STORYLINE:
For the first time in the company's history, Audi is showing only electric cars at the Geneva International Motor Show.
Stating that electric mobility will transform the automotive business, the German car maker presented what car buyers can expect over the next two years, in terms of E-mobility.
The Audi E-Tron GT Concept - a fully electric sports car will go into production in late 2020. Presented at the LA Auto Show last year, it's being shown for the first time in Europe.
"The Audi E-Tron GT Concept demonstrates perfectly how emotional, how sporty and how sexy e-mobility will become at Audi," says Audi's head of design, Mark Lichte.
The camouflaged Audi E-Tron Sportback is meant to rival Jaguar's I-Pace. It goes into production at the end of this year.
"We came up with the idea - what about combining the comfort and usability of an SUV and to combine this with the aesthetic of a coupe," says Lichte.
"We took the lower part of the Audi E-Tron and added the A7 roofline on top of it. The result is a very dynamic, sporty and attractive battery electric SUV."
Next in the line-up is the Q4 E-Tron - going into production at the end of 2020 and described as the first affordable electric SUV.
"The Q4 E-Tron Concept will be the first affordable battery electric SUV in the A segment and these proportions are simply stunning," says Lichte.
Audi is calling 2019 its year of plug-in hybrids, presenting four new plug-ins at the Geneva Motor Show.
The Q5, A6, A7 Sportback and A8 are some of more than 20 Audi models that will hit the market in 2019.
The annual Geneva International Motor Show opens to the public on 7 March and runs until 17 March 2019.
More than 900 models will be shown, including over 150 world and European premiers.
