വിജയ് ഹസാരെ ട്രോഫി കർണ്ണാടകത്തിന്

ഹാട്രിക്ക് വിക്കറ്റുമായി കളം നിറഞ്ഞ അഭിമന്യു മിഥുനാണ് കർണാടകയുടെ വിജയശില്പി. വിജയ് ഹസാരെ ട്രോഫിയില്‍ ഹാട്രിക്ക് നേടുന്ന ആദ്യ താരമാണ് മിഥുന്‍.

ബംഗളൂരു: ഇന്ത്യൻ ആഭ്യന്തര ക്രിക്കറ്റിലെ അൻപത് ഓവർ ക്രിക്കറ്റ് കിരീടമായ വിജയ് ഹസാരെ ട്രോഫി കർണ്ണാടകം സ്വന്തമാക്കി. ഫൈനല്‍ മത്സരത്തില്‍ തമിഴ്നാടിനെ 60 റണ്‍സിന് തോല്‍പ്പിച്ചാണ് കർണ്ണാടക കിരീടം നേടിയത്. എം ചിന്നസ്വാമി സ്‌റ്റേഡിയത്തില്‍ നടന്ന മത്സരം മഴ തടസപ്പെടുത്തിയതിനെ തുടർന്ന് വിജെഡി നിയമപ്രകാരമാണ് വിജയികളെ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്.

ആദ്യം ബാറ്റ് ചെയ്ത തമിഴ്നാട് 49.5 ഓവറില്‍ 252 റണ്‍സെടുത്തു. മറുപടി ബാറ്റിങ്ങിന് ഇറങ്ങിയ കർണാടക 23 ഓവറില്‍ ഒരു വിക്കറ്റ് നഷട്ടത്തില്‍ 146 റണ്‍സെടുത്ത് നില്‍ക്കവേയാണ് മഴ കളി തടസപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. പീന്നീട് കർണാടകയെ വിജയികളായി പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. 69 റണ്‍സെടുത്ത മായങ്ക് അഗർവാളും 52 റണ്‍സെടുത്ത കെഎല്‍ രാഹുലും കർണാടകയ്ക്ക് മികച്ച സ്കോർ കണ്ടെത്താന്‍ സഹായിച്ചു. ദേവദത്ത് പടിക്കലിന്‍റെ വിക്കറ്റാണ് കർണാടകയ്ക്ക് നഷ്‌ടമായത്. വാഷിങ്ടൺ സുന്ദറാണ് വിക്കറ്റ് നേടിയത്.

തമിഴ്നാടിന് വേണ്ടി അഭിനവ് മുകുന്ദ് 85 റണ്‍സും ബാബാ അപരാജിത് 66 റണ്‍സും നേടിയിരുന്നു. ഇത് നാലാം തവണയാണ് കർണാടക ടൂർണമെന്‍റില്‍ വിജയിക്കുന്നത്.

അവസാന ഓവറില്‍ ഹാട്രിക്കെടുത്ത അഭിമന്യു മിഥുനാണ് കർണാടകയുടെ വിജയം അനായാസമാക്കിയത്. 34 റണ്‍സ് വഴങ്ങി മിഥുന്‍ അഞ്ച് വിക്കറ്റ് എടുത്തു. വിജയ് ഹസാരേ ട്രോഫിയില്‍ ഹാട്രിക്ക് നേടുന്ന ആദ്യ താരമാണ് മിഥുന്‍.
