پاکستان میں پیش کے گئے عام بجٹ پر حزب اختلاف کے رہنماؤں نے عمران خان کی حکومت پر سخت تنقید کرتے ہوئے اسے واپس لینے کا مطالبہ کیا ہے۔

نیشنل اسمبلی میں حزب اختلاف کے رہنما اور پاکستان مسلم لیگ نواز (ن)کے رہنما شہباز شریف نے بجٹ کو مسترد کرتے ہوئے اسے واپس لینے کا مطالبہ کیا ہے۔

نیشنل اسمبلی میں بجٹ بحث میں حصہ لیتے ہوئے حزب اختلاف کے رہنماؤں نے اسے عوام مخالف اور بین الاقوامی مالیاتی فنڈ (آئی ایم ایف) کی ہدایات پر بنایا گیا قراردیا۔

گذشتہ سال اقتدار میں عمران خان کی قیادت میں آئی پاکستان تحریک انصاف (پی ٹی آئی) نے 11 جون کو بجٹ پیش کیا تھا۔

حزب اختلاف کے رہنما نے بدھ کو نیشنل اسمبلی میں دعوی کیا کہ بجٹ آئی ایم ایف نے تیار کیا ہے اور یہ عام لوگوں اور کسانوں کی زندگی پر لٹکتی تلوار ہے۔

حکومت پر تنقید کرتے ہوئے شہباز نے کہا کہ اقتدار میں آنے پرعمران خان نے نیا پاکستان بنانے کے بڑے بڑے دعوے کئے تھے لیکن ملک کی معیشت کو آگے لے جانے کی بجائے آدھے ادھورے اقدامات سے اسے بدترین حالت میں پہنچا دیا ہے۔

Young Indian’s reactions to Kabir Singh !

Cinema mirrors society and vice versa. In India films leave a strong impact on common man. Majority of urban audience praise Hollywood movies for it’s ‘realism’. But similar ‘realism’ in indian cinema is not necessarily praised. In may sound hypocritical but Indian audience is still into ‘ideal hero’ and his ‘heroism’. When a hard hitting subject comes around there are lot of ‘discussions’ either way. Take the case of Kabir Singh which is point of discussion for alcoholism, obsessive love and qualification gone down the drain.

Arjun Reddy, a Telugu film released in 2017, depicts a story a successful young medical surgeon, sets out on the path of self-destruction when his lady-love is forced to marry another man. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has also directed it’s hindi version Kabir Singh where Shahid Kapoor plays a short-tempered house surgeon, who gets used to drugs and alcohol when his girlfriend, played by Kiara Advani, is forced to marry another person.

Young generation too is talking about Kabir Singh. When asked about the Shahid’s character’s behaviour in the film it was mostly a no-no from them. One reacted saying ‘it is not a right thing to do because he is responsible towards his parents, family and himself too. In India quite a few get influenced by leading actor’s character and India being “Young’ country movie like Kabir Singh should have been avoided’. Another one said ‘It may send a wrong signal that after a break-up one should turn to smoking or drinking. Again a medico like him should think about which rigours his parents must have gone through to educate him, that too expensive course like Medicine. It takes so much effort to become a doctor and to throw everything away for the case of one girl is foolishness’. Another one humorously chipped in ‘Ek gays to dusri aa jayegi’.

One studious one opined ‘we are unable to gauge his mental state at that point of time when he was separated from his lady-love. Of course it’s not justified but not everyone has mental strength to combat that stress. It is giving a wrong message that ‘agar ladki nahi mili to daru piyunga, cigarette piyunga and apni life ki vaat lagaa lunga’. ‘When you become a doctor you take an oath to serve ill people. All your knowledge, expertise is wasted if you become alcoholic for whatever reason’ was a parting reply from the group of young students.

There may be cases like Kabir Singh in reality but when they are glorified on silver screen, they may send unwanted message. Conclusion:
