టోక్యో ఒలింపిక్స్​ క్వార్టర్స్​లో జర్మనీపై గెలిచి భారత పురుషుల హాకీ జట్టు కాంస్య పతకం సొంతం చేసుకుంది. ఈ సందర్భంగా పలువురు ప్రముఖులు హాకీ జట్టుకు అభినందనలు తెలియజేస్తున్నారు. ​

ఎన్నాళ్లో వేచిన హృదయాలకు ఒక చల్లని కబురు ఇది.. ఎన్నేళ్లో కన్న కలలు నిజమైన వేళ ఇది.. ఇక పునర్వైభవమే లక్ష్యంగా ముందుకు సాగాల్సిన తరుణమిది.. పతకాల కరవు తీరుస్తూ హాకీ ఇండియా అద్భుతం చేసింది. జర్మనీతో జరిగిన పోరులో తిరుగులేని విజయం సాధించింది. అఖండ భారతావనిని మురిపించింది. టోక్యోలో భారత కీర్తి పతాకను రెపరెపలాడించింది. బలమైన ప్రత్యర్థిని 5-4 తేడాతో చిత్తు చేసింది. 41 ఏళ్ల తర్వాత భారత పురుషుల హాకీ జట్టు కాంస్య పతకం ముద్దాడింది. ఈ సందర్భంగా భారత పురుషుల హాకీ జట్టుకు పలువురు ప్రముఖులు అభినందనలు తెలిపారు.
