వరుసగా 11 బౌట్లు గెలిచి జోరు మీదున్న విజేందర్ సింగ్.. బ్రిటీష్ బాక్సర్ ఆమిర్​ ఖాన్​ను ఛాలెంజ్ చేస్తూ అన్న మాటలు ట్విట్టర్​లో తూటాలు పేల్చుతున్నాయి. తనను పిల్లాడు అని విజేందర్​ అనడంపై సహచర బాక్సర్ నీరజ్ గోయత్ అభ్యంతరం వ్యక్తం చేశాడు. తనతో పోరుకు సిద్ధంగా ఉండమంటూ విజేందర్​కు సవాల్ విసిరాడు.

నీరజ్​ - విజేందర్​

వరుసగా 11 బౌట్లు గెలిచి జోరు మీదున్నాడు భారత ప్రో బాక్సర్ విజేందర్ సింగ్. బాక్సింగ్ పంచ్​ల్లోని ఊపును మాటల్లోనూ చూపిస్తున్నాడు. బ్రిటీష్ బాక్సర్ ఆమిర్ ఖాన్​కు సవాల్ విసురుతూ.. మరో భారత బాక్సర్​ నీరజ్ గోయత్​ నొచ్చుకునేలా చేశాడు. పిల్లలతో కాదు తనతో తలపడాలని నీరజ్​ను ఉద్దేశిస్తూ.. ఆమిర్​కు సవాలు​ విసిరాడు విజేందర్. ఇందుకు స్పందించిన నీరజ్ 'నేను పిల్లాడిని కాదు.. నాతో పోరుకు సిద్ధమా' అంటూ విజేందర్​ను ఛాలెంజ్ చేశాడు.

పాకిస్థాన్ సంతతికి చెందిన ఆమిర్.. భారత బాక్సర్ నీరజ్ గోయత్​తో మ్యాచ్​కు సిద్ధపడ్డాడు. నెల రోజుల క్రితమే ఈ మ్యాచ్​ జరగాల్సి ఉండగా.. వాయిదా పడింది. ఈ మధ్యలో అమెరికాకు చెందిన స్నైడర్​ను ఓడించి 11వ బౌట్ గెలిచిన ఆనందంలో ఉన్న విజేందర్ ఆమిర్​ను ఛాలెంజ్ చేశాడు.

"ఆమిర్​తో మ్యాచ్ ఆడేందుకు నేను సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నా. కానీ అతడు పిల్లాడిని ఎంచుకున్నాడు. నీరజ్ గోయత్ నా జూనియర్. ఇంతకు ముందు చెప్పా, ఇప్పుడు చెబుతున్నా.. అతడు(ఆమిర్) ఎప్పుడు అంటే అప్పుడు పోరుకు సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నా. అతడు పిల్లలతో తలపడడం ఆపాలి" - విజేందర్ సింగ్

ఈ మాటలకు నొచ్చుకున్న నీరజ్ 'పోరుకు సిద్ధమా..' అంటూ విజేందర్​కు ట్విట్టర్​లో సవాల్ విసిరాడు

"విజేందర్​ నన్ను పిల్లవాడు అంటావా.. ఓ ప్రపంచ ఛాంపియన్​ను తన సొంత దేశంలో ఓడించిన ఏకైక భారత బాక్సర్​ని నేను. ఈ నవంబరులో నాతో, వికాస్ కృష్ణన్, ఆమిర్​తో నువ్వు (విజేందర్​) తలపడాలని సవాల్ చేస్తున్నా. ఇందుకు నువ్వు సిద్ధమా?" - నీరజ్ గోయత్

నీరజ్​కు మద్దతుగా మరో బాక్సర్ వికాస్ కృష్ణన్ ట్వీట్ చేశాడు.

"విజేందర్, నీరజ్, ఆమిర్ ఖాన్ ఒకే విభాగంలో ఉన్నారు కాబట్టి పోటీపడొచ్చు. గోయత్ చెప్పినట్టు మనం ఈ నవంబరులో తప్పకుండా తలపడదాం. రింగులో తేల్చుకుందాం" - వికాస్ కృష్ణన్

ఒకే దేశానికి చెందిన బాక్సర్లు గౌరవించుకోవడం అలా ఉంచి.. 'తేల్చుకుందాం, సిద్ధంగా ఉండండి' అంటూ ఒకర్నొకరు సవాల్ విసురుకోవడం ప్రస్తుతం చర్చనీయాంశమైంది.

STORYLINE:
People in Japan began casting ballots on Sunday in elections for the upper house of parliament, with prime minister Shinzo Abe seeking to retain a majority for the ruling coalition.
Polling stations opened at 7am local time, and will close at 8pm.
Katsunori Takeuchi, a 57 year old fish market worker, said he voted for an opposition party.
"I think the ruling party has been dominating politics for far too long and it is causing damage," he said.
Another voter said he voted for a candidate that would "get things done".
