బెంగళూరు జట్టు కెప్టెన్ విరాట్ కోహ్లీ.. ఐపీఎల్లో 5000 పరుగుల మార్క్ను అందుకున్నాడు. రైనా తర్వాత ఈ ఘనత సాధించిన రెండో బ్యాట్స్మెన్గా నిలిచాడు.

గురువారం బెంగళూరు వేదికగా ముంబయితో జరిగిన మ్యాచ్లో ఆర్సీబీ కెప్టెన్ కోహ్లీ మరో రికార్డు నెలకొల్పాడు. 46 పరుగులు వ్యక్తిగత స్కోరు వద్ద... ఐపీఎల్లో 5000 పరుగులు చేసిన రెండో బ్యాట్స్మెన్గా నిలిచాడు. వారం క్రితమే సురేశ్ రైనా ఈ ఘనత సాధించాడు.

రైనా 177 మ్యాచ్ల్లో ఈ ఘనత సాధిస్తే, కేవలం 165 మ్యాచ్ల్లోనే ఈ స్కోరు చేసి అరుదైన రికార్డు నెలకొల్పాడు విరాట్ కోహ్లీ.

ఈ ఐపీఎల్ సీజన్ ప్రారంభమయ్యే నాటికి 4948 పరుగులతో ఉన్నాడు. చెన్నైతో జరిగిన తొలి మ్యాచ్లోనే కోహ్లీ ఈ రికార్డు సాధించేవాడు. కానీ 6 పరుగులే చేసి ఔటయ్యాడు. అదే మ్యాచ్లో చెన్నై బ్యాట్స్మెన్ సురేశ్ రైనా... 5000 పరుగుల చేసి ఈ ఘనతను సాధించిన మొదటి ఆటగాడిగా నిలిచాడు.

The Chinese economy is impressing with its focus on quality of development, said former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda, also former chairman of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA),on Wednesday.
Fukuda was chairman of BFA from 2010 to 2018, and is attending the BFA 2019 annual conference as chairman of the forum's Council of Advisors.
"When I attended the BFA annual conference 10 years ago, only around 1,500 guests were invited. With its expanding scale, the forum owes its development today most to the development of the Chinese economy," said Fukuda.
He said countries should attach importance to both scale and quality in developing the economy.
"Besides expanding scale of economic development, countries should also attach importance to contents and quality of economic development. And I have learned that the Chinese government is making all-out efforts to enhance the development quality of its economy," said Fukuda.
Premier Li Keqiang said in the keynote address at the BFA annual conference on Thursday that China has started to formulate matching regulations and rules to support the implementation of the newly-adopted foreign investment law. The supporting rules will go into effect together with the foreign investment law on Jan. 1, 2020, he said.
Fukuda said the foreign investment law will further improve quality of the Chinese economy, and a series of optimizing measures of the Chinese government have brought positive changes to various aspects of the country.
"Without these positive changes, the Chinese economy would be changing only in terms of scale. And the government's optimizing measures will make China a major country gaining more and more praise from the international community," said Fukuda.
As for the improving ties between China and Japan, the former Japanese prime minister called on the two countries to carry out exchanges and gain mutual understanding at a deeper level.
The BFA is a non-governmental and non-profit international organization that has been holding this annual conference since 2002. Running from March 26 to 29, this year's BFA themed "Shared Future, Concerted Action, Common Development" has drawn over 2,000 delegates from 60 countries and regions.
