వాంఖడే వేదికగా జరుగుతున్న మ్యాచ్​లో మొదట బ్యాటింగ్ చేసిన బెంగళూరు నిర్ణీత 20 ఓవర్లలో 171 పరుగులు చేసింది. డివిలియర్స్ 74 పరుగులతో రాణించాడు. ముంబయి బౌలర్లలో మలింగకు 4 వికెట్లు దక్కాయి.

టాస్ ఓడి బ్యాటింగ్​కు దిగిన బెంగళూరుకు ఆదిలోనే ఎదురుదెబ్బ తగిలింది. గత మ్యాచ్​లో ఆకట్టుకున్న కోహ్లి.. నేడు 8 పరుగులే చేసి ఔటయ్యాడు. మరో ఓపెనర్​ పార్థివ్ వేగంగా ఆడే ప్రయత్నం చేశాడు. 28 పరుగులు చేసి రెండో వికెట్​గా వెనుదిరిగాడు.

అనంతరం క్రీజులోకి వచ్చిన మొయిన్ అలీ..డివిలియర్స్​తో కలిసి స్కోరు బోర్డును పరుగులు పెట్టించాడు. వీరిద్దరూ కలిసి మూడో వికెట్​కు 95 పరుగుల భాగస్వామ్యం నెలకొల్పారు. ఆ క్రమంలోనే అర్ధ సెంచరీలు పూర్తి చేసుకున్నారు.

50 పరుగులు చేసిన అలీ... మలింగ బౌలింగ్​లో ఔటయ్యాడు. 75 పరుగులు చేసిన డివిలియర్స్.. మలింగ వేసిన చివరి ఓవర్లో పెవిలియన్ బాట పట్టాడు. తర్వాత క్రీజులోకి వచ్చిన అక్షదీప్ నాథ్, పవన్ నేగి​ వెంట వెంటనే వెనుదిరిగారు.

ముంబయి బౌలర్లలో మలింగకు నాలుగు వికెట్లు, బెరెండార్ఫ్​, హార్దిక్ పాండ్యకు తలో వికెట్ దక్కింది.

"Members of the German Bundestag and the European Parliament had planned a visit to Julian Assange for last Thursday and this Monday that has been (imperceptible) confirmed by the Ecuadorian embassy. Julian Assange was arrested shortly before our visit and we are here today in front of the prison to protest against the arrest of Julian Assange. We in the strongest terms condemn the behaviour of the Ecuadorian government in the past week which has been in flagrant violation of international law by rescinding Mr. Assange's asylum, having stripped him of his Ecuadorian citizenship and signed off for the expulsion and subsequent arrest of Mr Assange by having invited the British police in their mission for the arrest on behalf of the United States authorities."

"The US cited the Extradition Act while filing the request. This was confirmed by the Metropolitan Police. This sets a very dangerous precedent that de facto imperils journalism, press freedom and protected speech everywhere. The Ecuadorian government is now trying to divert attention from its breach of the law by engaging in a disinformation and slander campaign against Assange to poison public opinion on Mr. Assange. Our primary objective as members of the German Bundestag and the European Parliament is now to prevent the extradition of Julian Assange to the United States of America."

"We are faced with a humanitarian imperative now that Assange is in UK custody and a US extradition request is out for him to act after a high ranking officials of the US, including President Donald Trump have threatened the publisher with this (DEATH?????) Extradition to Sweden should also be avoided because a transfer to the US cannot be ruled out. This is why Assange was granted asylum in the first place."

"We want to stress that it is publicly now that the US, UK and Ecuadorian authorities joined forces for what now seems like a planned attack on Julian Assange and Wikileaks. We observe with grave concern that if the case of Mr Assange, the US is extending its persecution into the European territory and Latin America. This is not a real prosecution, it is contrary to international law and must be condemned and rejected by European states. This is all the more true given that Assange is facing charges in the US not only for conspiracy but also on the basis of counter-espionage laws which carry a long prison sentence or even the death penalty."

"This sets a precedent that demonstrates that every European Union citizen can be at risk. Therefore we call on the British Government not to extradite Julian Assange to the United States of America. The European Union must take action, do everything to protect a political persecuted publisher and journalist. We call on the governments of the Federal Republic of Germany, the government of Spain to grant political asylum to Julian Assange and to work within the European Union at the European Council to grant protection and hinder the extradition."

STORYLINE:
A group of German and Spanish MP's called for detained Wikileaks founder Julian Assange not to be extradited from the United Kingdom, citing concerns about his welfare and human rights.
The MP's were due to meet Assange at the Ecuadorian embassy on Monday, but instead gave a press conference at Belmarsh Prison where Assange is currently being held.
Spanish MP Ana Miranda, a member of the European Greens–European Free Alliance Group of the European Parliament, said Assange faced charges in the US "not only for conspiracy but also on the basis of counter-espionage laws which carry a long prison sentence or even the death penalty."
She said MP's were also opposing an extradition to Sweden because a transfer to the US could not be ruled out.
Sevim Dagdelen, the deputy Leader of the Left Party in the German Parliament said Assange's case set a precedent "that demonstrates that every European Union citizen can be at risk."
Dagdelen called on the UK not to extradite Assange to the US and urged the European Union to do "everything to protect a political persecuted publisher and journalist."
Dagdelen also called on Germany and Spain to grant political asylum to Assange and to work within the European Union at the European Council to grant protection and hinder the extradition.
Assange was awaiting sentencing in Britain for skipping bail to avoid being sent to Sweden as part of an investigation of a rape allegation.
Sweden is considering reviving the investigation.
The United States also is seeking his extradition after charging him with conspiring to break into a Pentagon computer system, which could lead to competing extradition demands.
The MP's added that Assange's potential extradition de facto imperiled journalism, press freedom and protected speech everywhere.
