అభిమానులకు కిక్​ ఇచ్చే కవిత చెప్పిన ధావన్​

ఆస్ట్రేలియాతో మ్యాచ్​లో గాయపడిన టీమిండియా ఓపెనర్​ శిఖర్​ ధావన్​ అభిమానులను ఉద్దేశించి ఓ కవిత ట్వీట్​ చేశాడు. ఇలాంటి చిన్న చిన్న దెబ్బలతో టీమిండియా, అభిమానులు అధైర్యపడరనే సందేశాన్ని వినిపించాడు.

భారత జట్టు స్టార్​ బ్యాట్స్​మన్​, ఓపెనర్​ శిఖర్​ ధావన్ ఎడమ చేతి బొటన వేలు గాయం కారణంగా ప్రపంచకప్​ టోర్నీకి మూడు వారాలు అందుబాటులో ఉండటం లేదు. ఈ విషయం తెలియగానే యావత్​ దేశం షాక్​కు గురైంది. తాజాగా శిఖర్​ ఓ కవితతో భార‌త అభిమానుల్లో మ‌నోధైర్యం నింపాడు. ఉర్దూ క‌వి డా.రాహ‌త్ ఇందోరి రాసిన ఓ క‌విత‌ను త‌న ట్విట్ట‌ర్‌లో పోస్టు చేశాడు.

" కొన్నిసార్లు మనం పువ్వుల్లా వికసిస్తాం. మరికొన్ని సార్లు పర్వతాలపైన మంచు పొగలా అత్యున్నతంగా ఉంటాం. మనం పైకి ఎగురుతుంటే ఎవరూ మన రెక్కలను కత్తిరించలేరు. ఎందుకంటే ధైర్యంగా విహరించగల సత్తా మనలో ఉంది" అంటూ ధావన్​ సందేశాన్ని పోస్టు చేశాడు.

తదుపరి మ్యాచ్​లకు ఓపెనర్లుగా రోహిత్‌శర్మ, కేఎల్ రాహుల్ ఇన్నింగ్స్‌ను మొదలుపెట్టనున్నారు. ధావ‌న్ స్థానంలో రిష‌భ్​ పంత్ ఇంగ్లాండ్‌కు ప‌య‌న‌మ‌య్యాడు. న్యూజిలాండ్​, పాకిస్థాన్​, ఆఫ్గాన్​తో మ్యాచ్​లకు ధావన్ బదులుగా రిషభ్, దినేశ్​ కార్తీక్​, విజయ్​ శంకర్​లలో ఎవరో ఒకరికి అవకాశం రానుంది.

"Because there were serious clashes outside the Legislative Council we had to use some weapons, including police batons, pepper spray, pepper-based solution, bean bag rounds, rubber bullets and tear gas. We are still counting how many people are injured, including my colleagues, and I also don't have the figures yet on how many weapons we have used."

STORYLINE:
Hong Kong's police commissioner on Wednesday described the scene around the city's government headquarters as chaotic, and called on protesters to leave the area.
Commissioner Stephen Lo Wai-chung told reporters Wednesday that officers used batons, pepper spray, bean bag rounds, rubber bullets, water hoses and tear gas against the demonstrators.
He said police took action after a large group of masked protesters charged onto the roads surrounding the complex in Hong Kong's Admiralty district and started throwing objects including metal barriers at officers.
He called the situation a riot.
