టీ20: బంగ్లాదేశ్​ ముందు 149 పరుగుల లక్ష్యం

దిల్లీ అరుణ్​జైట్లీ స్టేడియం వేదికగా బంగ్లాతో జరుగుతున్న మ్యాచ్​లో భారత్ 6 వికెట్లు నష్టానికి 148 పరుగులు చేసింది. బౌలింగ్​కు అనుకూలిస్తున్న పిచ్​పై భారత బ్యాట్స్​మన్ తడబడ్డారు. బంగ్లా బౌలర్లలో షయిఫిల్ ఇస్లాం, అమినుల్ ఇస్లాం చెరో రెండు వికెట్లు తీశారు.

దిల్లీ వేదికగా బంగ్లాదేశ్​తో జరుగుతున్న తొలి టీ20లో భారత్.. ​నిర్ణీత 20 ఓవర్లలో 6 వికెట్ల నష్టానికి 148 పరుగులు చేసింది. బౌలింగ్​కు అనుకూలిస్తున్న పిచ్​పై శిఖర్ ధావన్(41) మినహా మిగతా బ్యాట్స్​మెన్​ పెద్దగా ఆకట్టుకోలేకపోయారు. బంగ్లా బౌలర్లలో అమినుల్ హసన్, షఫియిల్ ఇస్లాం చెరో రెండు వికెట్లు తీయగా.. ఆఫిఫ్ హొస్సేన్ ఓ వికెట్ తన ఖాతాలో వేసుకున్నాడు.

టాస్ ఓడి మొదట బ్యాటింగ్​కు దిగిన టీమిండియా ఆరంభంలోనే కెప్టెన్ రోహిత్ శర్మ(9) వికెట్​ కోల్పోయింది. ఇన్నింగ్స్​ ఆరంభంలోనే రెండు ఫోర్లు కొట్టి దూకుడుగా ఆడిన హిట్​మ్యాన్ షఫియిల్ బౌలింగ్​ ఎల్బీడబ్ల్యూగా వెనుదిరిగాడు. అనంతరం బ్యాటింగ్​కొచ్చిన కే ఎల్ రాహుల్(15) కూడా క్రీజులో ఎక్కువసేపు నిలబడలేకపోయాడు.

36కే 2 వికెట్లు కోల్పోయిన టీమిండియాను ధావన్ - శ్రేయాస్ అయ్యర్ ఆదుకునే ప్రయత్నం చేశారు. అయితే శ్రేయస్​ను(22) ఔట్ చేసి నిలకడగా ఆడుతున్న ఈ జోడీని విడదీశాడు బంగ్లా బౌలర్ అమినుల్. కాసేపటికే ధావన్​ కూడా రనౌట్​ అయ్యాడు. ఈ మ్యాచ్​తో అరంగేట్రం చేసిన ఆల్​రౌండర్ శివమ్​ దూబే ఒక్క పరుగుకే ఔటై నిరాశ పరిచాడు.

Now the democratic clarification, the election that is being prepared in the UK will enable one thing that hasn't been happening for the past two years: there will be again an alignment between the British people, the composition of the Parliament and the government."

"What is clear is that since April (2019) the president (of France) says that we've been portrayed as the hard ones of the gang. We've been told 'the French are the ones that are always firm and harsh'. That's not what has happened. Since April, very clearly the president of the (French) republic is trying to bring some clarity, because behind Brexit there is a lot of uncertainty. There are millions of families, millions of companies today who don't understand anything anymore. All we've been trying to do since April is to make things simple. To have an agreement on the table, to ask the British to say yes or no, and then have clear deadlines (interrupted by journalist). That's why we fought for the date of October 31. And we've always said that we will only postpone this date on two conditions: either because the British need a bit more time to say yes or no to the agreement, or because they are organizing an election."

STORYLINE:
France's European Affairs Minister Amelie de Montchalin has denied the Brexit deadline could be extended beyond 31 January 2020.
Speaking on Europe 1 radio on Sunday, de Montchalin warned the date was "not negotiable" and advised French businesses to prepare, stating "the risk of a no-deal Brexit remains".
She added the British general election on 12 December would enable "an alignment between the British people, the composition of the Parliament and the government."
De Montchalin also denounced any representation of France as being "the hard ones of the gang" among the 27 EU countries, as she said French President Emmanuel Macron had only been "trying to bring some clarity, because behind Brexit there is a lot of uncertainty".
